“Here comes Trouble!” Colton took one look at the stripper on stage and knew that was exactly what Vida was, trouble. He had no desire to succumb to the young woman tantalizing men with her provocative movements and killer body with no intention of satisfying their fantasies. Fresh out of prison, his tattoo shop and getting rid of an aggravating ex were his first priorities, not a woman who … should know better than to become involved in a situation that could get her killed.
Vida will do anything to save her friend’s life, even if it includes stripping on stage and doing lap dances in the VIP room under her stage name Trouble. All the sensuous moves were just an illusion to gain the information she needed, even if it meant the men who watched thought she would keep the promises her body was making.
Forced to sift through lies and betrayals, Colton discovers a woman who is as loving as she is loyal, but won’t give him a chance. Vida, who tries to ignore the escalating passion between them, learns the hard way that some men shouldn’t be teased…

TROUBLE
Colton gets out of prison after 3 years and gets coaxed into protecting Vida a young woman King has been helping to find her friend Sawyer who was kidnapped. I’m not sure how this book ties into TLR MC yet. However, Colton is in an MC the Predators.
So this was my first read from Jamie Begley and let me assure you that I wasn’t disappointed at all. Here we meet Vida and Colton. I loved how Colton would do anything for his family and friends. And same ethics apply to Vida. I can’t wait to read more from Jamie Begley. Most definitely worth 5*****
3.5 Stars! Teased is book one in the VIP Room series, and the start of our journey through the twisted web of how The Last Riders and King connect.
Summary:
Colton is breathing free air after three years of confinement and misery. He has no intention of being trapped into emotional involvement with another woman. He did that, and it landed him in prison. All he wants is to pay his debt and focus on his tattoo shop, adding in a good lay here and there for pleasure’s sake. When he gets a good look at the stripper on stage, he knows to stay away from trouble. Unfortunately, Trouble is just what he gets when it’s handed over to him as a way to pay his debt. Vida can’t believe the predicament she finds herself. She has dreams, goals, and stripping was never even a glimmer. But, she’ll do anything to save her friend. Even the very job that trapped her own mother if it means she gets the information she needs. She didn’t count on Colton, though. Ignoring the sexual tension between them isn’t working. Can either of them let their guards down long enough to see the true character of the other?
This book was just okay for me. I’ve really come to love The Last Riders series and even eager to read the Biker Bitches series, and while I enjoyed meeting new characters by this author, it’s more of a means to getting to more Last Riders. I liked Vida as our heroine. She was quiet, contained, loyal, and loving. I liked that she still had a sassy, fiery side that chased her perceived weakness away. Colton was a sexy hero. He was strong, loyal, smart, determined, and protective. I thought I’d dislike him at first, but there was so much more to him and his situation. I hated that we had to see him with so many other women first, but I could see why he did what he did. I felt the action between Colton and Vida was slow-moving. It felt like forever before anything really happened, and then after it did, it was rather rushed. Overall, it was an entertaining read with MC’s I liked, it just isn’t The Last Riders. Lol. I am looking forward to getting to know the Predators we’ve met. Especially Ice, Max, and Jackal. This does end on a sort of cliffhanger, but not for our characters directly. I will definitely be reading on for Sawyer’s story, and hopefully some answers to King’s connection to everyone. <3
I felt so sad for Vida especially when she spoke about losing her friend Callie when they were little (although I obviously already know something being that I’ve read the whole series but I will not spoil that because it’s a good egg). But the way she spoke about her friendship with Sawyer it was so cute and I loved that they have such a good friendship although you don’t physically see it you can definetely see how much Vida is willing to do to make sure Sawyer is safely returned.
I also think it was very cool that Colton is a tattoo artist the way he talks about his job and his passion. I love that.
So overall I really enjoyed this book and love the series!
