Shay has written a twisted bizarre take on the Vampire/Werefolk storyline. The characters draw you into the action that never slows down. Basically it is a tour de force in this genre. One wickedly good Read.
I absolutely loved this book! I could not put it down. I don’t know how I came across this book but I’m so glad I did. I’m completely hooked and can’t wait to find out what happens next.
I loved this story this book saga is a great read.
This was an awesome page-turner! I could not put it down. The only disappointing thing about it is when it ended…I wanted it to keep going!
I really enjoyed reading this book.
Well written story line but the plots are many and do not necessarily have closure. The one happy at the end of the book was a twist I didn’t see coming. The souls of people in this book reincarnate over and over, the past and present, the beings that want the heroine for very similar and very different reasons. An intriguing 1st in a Saga or series. It is left to the next book to continue some plots and the story line.
Definitely a Saga
I loved this story! It was a super fast read and very interesting! It left off on a cliff hanger and while that was disappointing, it certainly made me eager to read the next story in the series! The characters are very well developed and complex – with themes of soul mates, reincarnation, and past life memories throughout. I highly recommend this for fans of historical paranormal romance, vampires, weres, and the supernatural! I can’t say enough good things about it – rush out and buy it for yourself! It’s awesome!
This wonderful debut novel by Mr. Roberts is exceptional in its scope and ambition, its writing, its character development, and its plot. In fact, it’s pretty damned difficult to find anything about it that isn’t perfect.
Vampire Soul (Heartblaze, when I read it) does a brilliant job of combining vampires, werewolves and even historical figures with mordant humor, exhilarating action and a sensational gothic atmosphere. Whether you’re twelve or twelve hundred, this is the book for you!
Trust me, you will LOVE this book!
I received an ARC from the author and have chosen to review it. I really enjoyed this story it was different in that it had a focus on past lives and that’s something I don’t think I’ve ever read about. I liked getting to see Emma as she discovers more about herself as Cassandra and by experiencing this you get to see some of the past characters that have passed away you get to see them as they are in her present life. Periodically throughout the book there would be chapters that you would get to see of Emma’s past life as Cassandra I didn’t like how there wasn’t really in order to them. It got confusing at times so I wish it would have had more order to it to keep some of the confusion at bay. Besides that I really enjoyed this storyline and the characters and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
