Awesome awesome book. Awesome writer.
Love the bond between them and the love they have for their families.
I thought it was well written and an enjoyable story. It was very emotional and told in a way that you could feel their emotions and what they were going through like you were there. I hope to see more of the rest of the family in their own stories. I was surprised that it was so good. Not my usual read. I highly recommend it.
Loved this awesome love story! Colin and Sam has so much undeniable chemistry. One page to the next, I couldn’t wait to see how their story played out! So looking forward to reading this series!
With her parents not at home for the summer & not wanting to stay there by herself, Samantha accepts Brayden’s invitation to go with him to visit his family. She didn’t expect to love the mountains & his family’s land. She didn’t expect to be accepted & embraced by his huge family. She most definitely didn’t expect to be attracted to Brayden’s older brother, Colin, who is preparing to take his vows to become a priest.
Colin has known since he was a kid that he wanted to be a priest. He’s accepted his path & is ready to take his vows. It takes meeting Samantha to turn his world upside down & for the first time in his life have doubts as to whether he’s taking the right path.
This book was an emotional roller coaster as Colin & Samantha try to do the right thing. Throw in Colin’s meddling family members along with their own drama, and you have an amazing book! Looking forward to the next one in the series!
The McCullough’s are a large Irish in your face family. I loved the quick and funny banter within the family. The grandmothers and aunts are funny, But my favorite is the mother Maureen. She doesn’t miss much. I love the story of Colin and Samantha. It is so sweet and sigh worthy. I can’t wait to read more about this wild and wonderful family.
Colin’s story in the McCullough Mountain series. I liked it. It was a unique story. This book definitely got my interest for the rest of the series.
This book had all the feels. It was utter perfection. I know this will stay with me a long time. I know I will be re-reading this over and over. I’m in love with the McCulloghs.. I don’t usually read priest romances. But this was so good. I enjoyed it so much. I can’t wait to read more.
I can’t write a review that will do this book justice. Wow, just wow! Lydia Michaels wrote a beautiful, forbidden love story that will stay with me for a long time. Colin has devoted most of his life to serving God and his developing relationship with Samantha has him questioning it all. Samantha has a past that haunts her and Colin is the one that can help her break free from those fears. Sacred Waters will give you all the feels- the love, the anger, and the undeniable passion between Colin and Samantha. The whole McCullough family is so lovable that I can’t wait to devour the series.
I have reread this book several times. It’s such a great story. It’s one of the few that have stayed with me.
Colin thought he was going to dedicated his life to the church but God has other plans in store for him. Interesting argument within a man’s head and heart
