WHO IS BOONE STRYKER?Rock star.Sex God.Trish Ryder’s new co-star.Watch the sparks fly on screen and off…In CHASED BY LOVE…Actress Trish Ryder takes her job seriously and has no time for those who don’t. When she’s awarded a major role in a new movie featuring America’s hottest rock star, Boone Stryker, she’s beyond excited. The six-two, tattooed hunk of burning desire is known for his … desire is known for his dedication to his craft–but when he ditches their first meeting, she begins to wonder if he’s just another rocker with a great PR team.
Sex, booze, women, and music pretty much sums up Boone Stryker’s private world. He’s coasted through life playing by his own rules with plenty of people willing to cover his tracks, and he’s not likely to change–until he meets a woman who refuses to give him the time of day, much less anything more.
Sparks fly from the first moment Trish and Boone meet–tensions run hot and desire runs hotter when they’re trapped together on a remote location with no place to hide. Will sparks ignite, or will a hurricane douse the flames?
The Ryders are a series of stand-alone romances that may also be enjoyed as part of the larger Love in Bloom series.

This again was a home run by Melissa Foster…….it can be read as Stand alone but all of her stories are made richer and the characters are more developed when followed in the greater series…..love them all….
Chased by Love is book #40 in the Love in Bloom series and is book #3 in the Ryders series but can be read as a standalone.
Boone and Trish will chase down and capture your heart.
They have some crazy hot chemistry that you can actually feel from their very first confrontation in Boone’s trailer when Trish walks in on him. Trish Thinks he is a womanizing partier the press makes him out to be but she finds out that he is nothing at all like his reputation and the reason he has that reputation.
Trish is a beautiful, strong, devoted, talented, loyal independent woman. She is very close to her family. She is an actress filming a movie where she is playing the role of the heroine-addicted girlfriend of a rock star. She has her eyes on an Oscar.
Boone is protective, loyal, devoted and strong yet so sweet and tender at the same time. He is also very close with his family. Boone is a real life rock star playing the role of a rock star in the movie. Because of tragic events in his past and some trouble with his brother in the present some of the scenes are hitting a bit close to home and causing Boone to be unable to perform.
Trish and Boone are sent together to the next filming location for 10 days in the hopes that Trish can help Boone with his acting. All this time alone together, one adorable kitten named Sparky, a connection that is off the charts and a lot of sex and one week later they can’t imagine being away from each other.

What a great addition to The Love In Bloom Series. Chased by Love: Trish Ryder pulls you in to the story immediately and you don’t want to put it down. You cannot help but fall in love with Trish and Boone, and the rest of their family. Boone is a rock star acting in a film with Trish. He missed their first meeting and doesn’t seem committed to the film and it upsets Trish. Trish is all business on the set, a professional. Trish sees Boone as a rocker who doesn’t care about anyone but himself until she volunteers to work with him on a few scenes. Trish finds out Boone isn’t who is appears to be and Boone realizes Trish isn’t at all what he expected. Boone and Trish have such amazing chemistry on and off the set. I cannot wait to see what else Melissa has in store for the rest of the series!
B.J. Harrison is a wonderful narrator. He brings all if Melissa Foster’s characters and stories to life. He has a wonderful voice.
I will read every book Marie Force writes because they are well written and they are original while other writers make a predictable story.
I love Melissa Foster books, but this one was not as good as the past ones I’ve read. It was just too long. Boone’s mental battle with acting became too tiresome & Trish felt too sappy. I liked the ancillary characters/family members that were brought in later in the book.
We first meet Trish Ryder in Crashing into Love when her assistant Fiona falls for Jake Braden, and I have been dying to read her and Boone Stryker’s story.
Trish is an actress and she is currently doing a film with the very hot 6″2 Boone Stryker – Americas current hottest rock star. She is very dedicated to her acting so when Boone isn’t pulling his weight on set she storms off to his trailer where is in nothing but a towel (ok he was just putting it on) and bam that is where the chemistry starts. From that moment she is really fighting her feelings as she doesn’t want to be another notch on his bed or another one of his groupies.
Boone is definitely a rock star and definitely not an actor, so much so that he and Trish are ordered by the director to spent ten days together at the next location to get into character or its quits.
Whilst there Boone begins to open to Trish and she in return stars to warm towards him, as to be honest she is a little push and bitchy – but then again it is her career on the line if he doesn’t pull through for the film.
I loved their story and how their relationship develops and once again in true Foster style, Melissa will want you reading more, more more!
This is easily read as a stand alone even though it is book 3 in The Ryders and book 40 in the Love In Bloom Series.
5 stars yet again!
