I know exactly what I want. And it has nothing to do with the hot Navy SEAL I picked up in a bar.
Really… it doesn’t.
Even though the pressure of his lips on mine fires me like a hot kiln, and the feel of his ripped chest beneath my hungry fingertips…
Wait… I’m digressing. Focus, Allie.
Since graduating from college, I’ve been juggling two jobs while fostering abandoned dogs, with my … fostering abandoned dogs, with my sights set on opening a rescue kennel. I’ll do whatever it takes to succeed, even if it means fighting back my cravings for the man who’s been fueling my fantasies since I got my first taste of him in a hotel elevator.
This guy is too full of secrets. Dark ones, hidden behind his ice blue eyes. Secrets of his Special Ops past and of a billionaire family that employs half our town. He won’t let me into his world, and it’s for the best.
Logan Sheridan is more than I can handle. But when he slips his way into my life, searing the memory of his rock-hard body pressed against mine into my consciousness, all I can do is remember that night in the elevator…
…and ask for more, please.

Different but a good read…worth reading
Great book. Couldn’t put it down! Love that it was free. Thanks!
Looking forward to the next one #3!
Truly enjoyed the story
Enjoyable easy read
It’s easy to fall in love with the characters. As always, there’s a crisis, but this one has a unique solution. Enjoyed reading this book, and got lost for several hours because I cared about the characters and wanted to find out what happened to them.
This was my first Kate Aster read. I really enjoyed it. I wouldn’t describe it as a page turner but I sunk several evenings into this book and it was a solid read.
Allie and Logan meet in a hotel and are the verge of a one night stand when Allie gets cold feet (which I loved, by the way). She’s certain she’ll never see Logan again but of course their paths cross. Allie is living in a small town in Ohio, trying to get over her father’s death, and honoring his memory by starting a dog rescue. Logan is adjusting to civilian life after having been injured in a Navy SEAL mission gone wrong. He returns home to Ohio and decides he needs a canine companion which lands him on Allie’s doorstep.
The characters were very likable. You couldn’t help but root for them to find their HEA.
More, Please is a light and mostly sweet romance. It moves quickly and is easy to read. The first chapter throws you right into the nontraditional meeting of the two main characters. Both of these characters are interesting and have very good reasons for hesitating to start a relationship. But, of course, they eventually do. If you’re looking for something that will hold your interest but not get you into a time-suck this one is good.
I love Kate Aster’s book. This was a really good one so after I read this one I continued the series of her Special Ops’ Tribute Series.
loved it, would read more books of hers
I really enjoyed this story. This particular SEAL has a lot to deal with in his final year in SEALs and in his family business history. She is a mind-boggling quirky 24 year old with an old soul and some issues of her own adjusting to her father’s death and mother’s 2nd marriage. The book goes into a lot of detail, perhaps a little more than the flow needs. There is some quite well written steamy sex … I did start skimming past it. A little editing in those 2 areas to improve the flow would be great. But, it was definitely a ‘do no put this down’ story.
Not just a sex book. It has an interesting plot.
I enjoy this writer work.
