What can I really say about this book, other than WOW. This book was just incredible. An absolutely fantastic storyline that immediately sucked me in right from the start. The characters were down to earth and really likeable. I felt as though I was right there in the moment watching it all fold out in front of me like any good book should.
This flowed expertly. Just off this book I would have to say I have become a massive fan of this author’s work and I cannot wait to devour everything that they have ever written. This was just perfection at it’s best.
Emerald Green (Murder in Savannah book 1) by Lindsay Marie Miller
4 stars
I was drawn into this book from the beginning. Addie is a young woman pretty much left to her own devices as her parents are pretty hands off. She dreams of a mystery boy and come the start of the new school semester, the new student Tom, bares a pretty striking resemblance to her dream.
This story had twists, turns and just plain surprises! I didnt see any of them coming and i was on the edge of my seat to see what happened next!. Great read!
I give 5 stars to Emerald Green (Murder in Savannah Book 1) written by Lindsay Marie Miller.
I’ve really enjoyed Lindsay books in the past but was very sceptical about this read as I have to be in the mood for a murder mystery and she delivered as always the whole series has keep me very satisfied for days and hooked to continue to eagerly turn the pages, book from book. So I highly recommend this.
The characters and Mystery is well written, you can’t predict what will come next as it’s never what you first thought.
Addie has a very vivid emotional dream one night, everything seemed so real, so when the next day she is staring into the man’s actual face she’s taken aback.
Tom and Addie meet and straight away there physical and emotional connection is strong and pulls them together, as their relationship becomes deeper and stronger than either could ever imagine secrets and past’s come to light and pulls them apart. With all the mysterious goings on can they make it through together?
This book was so good. I have been reading the series out of order and I don’t even know why I started this book is the trigger that pulls you into this series. It sets the tone for the whole series. The action, the love, and the characters suck you in and make the story so enjoyable! The author has a great attention to detail that I must say is refreshing. I’m definitely going to go back and read it in order.
Emerald Green was a great 4 star read.
This was a great read with action, mystery, secrets, twists, romance and so much more.
Once you start reading you won’t want to put it down until your done.
Addie has been having dreams about a hot mystery guy. When someone that looks exactly like her mystery guy shows up in her class on the first day of school she is shocked.
Tom is new to the school and when he meets Addie he is drawn in by her. With Tom’s arrival things start to get very interesting.
There is so much that goes on in this great story that I don’t want to give anything away.
All of the characters added a great element to the story, I really felt connected to them and what they were going through. Be prepared for some big twists and on the edge of your seat moments. Warning: there is a heck of a cliffhanger at the end. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series to see what is coming next.
Emerald Green- Lindsay Marie Miller
5-star review
Emerald Green by Lindsay Marie Miller is an unbelievably good story! I devoured this book in one sitting as I couldn’t bring myself to put it down once I started. Emerald Green is the first book in the Murder in Savannah series, a series I can’t wait to read. This story is intense, intriguing, mysterious, unpredictable and dramatic. A well-blended suspenseful storyline that had me sitting on the edge of my seat as the story unfolded.
I have read some of Lindsay’s work in the past but this one is by far my favorite. The storyline flowed so well, and I loved all of the detail, from the characters descriptions, their emotions to their surroundings it was all there which made it so easy to picture everything playing out in my mind. I can’t wait to dive right into book 2 to get answers to all of my questions. I would definitely recommend this book to others!
Emerald Green By Lindsay Marie Miller
4 Stars!!!!
When it comes to genres I have to admit I mostly stick to romance but it is nice to step outside of your comfort zone once in a while
and I have to admit that this was a nice little sidetrack. I have read this author before and I find that she has a very unique and refreshing
way of getting the story out. I really enjoyed the twists and turns and mystery that surrounds the whole story. There is just enough drama
and mystery mixed in with a little romance that it keeps you glued to the page as you are eager to see just what will happen next.
I Addie and Tom have such a refreshing chemistry and all the mystery and unknowns that surround them just add to it. I found that the author
builds the story around them quite creatively and draws the reader in as the story unfolds. I had a multitude of emotions during this book and
found myself feeling as though I was Addie and going through all the events that unfold along with her. I am very eager to read more of this
series and see how the rest of the story unfolds.

Stars: 4
Oh my! This story has so many twists and turns that it completely kept me on my toes! I never knew what was going to happen next. I enjoyed reading how Addie’s and Tom’s relationship grew in this book, and I cannot wait to read more about their relationship! I also loved reading about the relationship between Addie and Tom with Daniel and Jeanine. This is book one of the Murder in Savannah series so Tom’ and Addie’s story isn’t over yet.
Emerald Green by Lindsay Marie Miller is the first book in the Murder in Savannah series. These need to be read in order otherwise a lot of the story will be missed. I am explaining this from experience. I read the second book first and was so happy to read this book and got many of the answers I had from the second book. The main characters are Addie and Tom. They are in high school and star-crossed. This has romance, mystery, suspense, and twists and turns. The characters are interesting and well written. The story had me hooked. There were a couple of surprises that caught me off guard. I look forward to completing the story and getting to see where the story of Addie and Tom goes.
The first in the Murder in Savannah series, Emerald Green is a young-adult mystery novel with added romance. If you like your teen dramas with a lot of added drama, this is definitely a book for you. While a little over-the-top in places, this was a fun read that had me asking questions from beginning to end; it definitely kept me turning the pages!
Addie Smith is one complex character. She’s a teenager that’s dealing with a lot more than just your stereotypical teen issues. The more we learnt about her, the more I found myself connecting to her. Her relationship with Tom was probably my favourite part of the story and I really enjoyed seeing their characters develop and grow closer.
I’ll admit there were elements of the story I struggled with (Ricky’s treatment and bullying of Addie was really quite awkward to read), overall it was a really interesting and exciting read. I love a crime read, so this combined with a first-love story was almost my perfect read. Addie faces some really difficult decisions and at times she is put into real danger. The involvement of characters like Eric added an extra layer to the story and I loved finding out the backstory to his sister’s disappearance.
I was hooked until the very end of this read and overall it was very exciting. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in this series and hope it will just as good. A great read!
Lindsay Marie Miller really sets the tone for the series, Murder in savannah, with Emerald Green. I have read several of Lindsay’s novels before but this one has a different flow to it. It is more of a young adult romance and mystery that sucks you in from page one and leaves you guessing what is to come next throughout the novel. I found myself on edge for a lot of the novel trying to figure out what was going to come next and solve the ‘mystery’. There is a little of everything in this book that it is sure to connect with multiple genera readers. You have the devious crime, mystery, coming of age first loves, and plenty of danger to pull you in.
We first meet Addie Smith, a young woman with a crush, except her crush was a handsome man that first came to her in a life-like dream. She doesn’t realize that this may have had more truth than she first assumed when she meets the new guy in her class, Tom Sutton. Right off the bat Addie recognizes the new guy, he looks just like the crush she dreamed of. This is just one of many components in the book. Things really pick up and full steam ahead when Addie receives a letter that is about a necklace. But that is all I am going to say about this mystery in hopes to not spoil this for you.
Tom is the alpha male we often find in these young adult romance novels. He has quite the personality and a history of his own. Tom wants to have a relationship with Addie and do everything he can to protect her from the obstacles that life seems to continue to throw at her. He will do whatever he can to help her solve this mystery that plagues her. Will it be enough though to keep her out of danger? Can their young and new love for each other ever have a chance of a happily ever after?
There is an antagonist in this novel as well, Ricky. Ricky is a jock that can’t seem to help himself when it comes to giving Addie a difficult time. Is this his way of telling her he likes her? Or is this just a bully out to make her life that much more difficult?
The one thing that threw me for a loop was the cliffhanger at the end of this. It just abruptly came to a halt and left me hanging. I can see where it will be a great jumping off point for the next book in the series, but still I wasn’t really excited with the ending. I will definitely be ready to read the next book as soon as possible. Overall this book had a little of everything for the avid reader and manages to keep you engaged in the story line throughout the novel until the very last page. There are parts that don’t flow all that well so between that and the crazy cliffhanger I have labeled this a four star read.
Emerald Green by Lindsay Marie Miller is the first story in the Murder in Savannah series, this book is a mix of mystery and romance in one story.
Addie Smith is a young woman who had a vivid dream one night and the next day she is looking straight in the eye of the dream guy. Tom Sutton has moved to Savannah and is just getting used to a new school when he meets Addie and their relationship gets intense.
This story is full of suspense and intrigue with a mystery letter regarding a necklace and the roller coaster ride of emotion and mystery. Addie’s character is a strong female and the way she weaves within the story is brilliant, Tom on the other hand was your typical alpha male who was a bit judgemental at times but overall they did compliment each other.
The mystery side of the story had me engrossed and although this is not the first book I have read by Lindsay this story had me turning the pages to complete the book in one sitting. The characters are always rich of flaws and always written so believable that you feel like you are in the story with them.
As always I can not wait to read the next book in this wonderful series.
Emerald Green: A Mystery Thriller Romance (Murder in Savannah, book 1) by Lindsay Marie Miller. It was kind of a bit more angst than I tend to like but still well thought out. The details and descriptions were very planned and it’s evident the author wanted you to completely picture every scene in the book. I did like how the characters interacted and how much the author really put into her story. Writing is a hard task and you can fee the effort and love this author had for the story she wanted to tell. I look forward to reading more of this authors works and Telly look forward to more like this but developed with the same attention to detail without so many details. I’m sure that sounds crazy.
Emerald Green is book 1 in the Murder in Savannah series from author Lindsay Marie Miller. This is my fifth read from this author and she continues to just get better and better. This is another brilliant series to come from this author and a great start to it at that. Her books are captivating and they hold you with the incredible characters and a brilliant captivating storyline, she shows attention to detail in all things throughout the story.
This book is a rollercoaster ride of emotions and events that occur. This book is filled with romance, suspense and mystery. You will never expect what will happen next, you will be on the edge of your seat through the entire book wondering what will happen next. But this just makes this whole book that much better. You are constantly turning the page, eager to find out what will happen next you will get captivated and totally hooked until the very last page, even with the cruel cruel cliffhanger ending. This is a fast-paced read with twists and turns throughout the book, that leaves you wondering and having many questions left unanswered, but it doesn’t stop this book from being compelling and captivating from start to finish.
Our two main characters Addie & Tom meet, and soon you can feel something coming together through their connection, and blossoming into something more. But the more that the story goes on and their connection gets deeper, secrets are revealed which bring a lot of things about Addie’s past to light. But will the revelations and secrets that have been revealed break Addie and Tom apart before they have already really begun? Or is their connection stronger than they actually realise?
The characters that Lindsay Marie Miller has created are relatable, likeable and I throughly enjoyed reading their journey through this story.
You are transported into this plot, world and characters live with this author’s brilliant descriptions made you feel as though you were there alongside Addie & Tom.
This is a brilliantly, captivating and compelling read that leaves you wanting more. I can’t wait to see what happens in Book 2 of this series and hopefully get some of my questions answered by this book. PREPARE to be taken on a rollercoaster ride of mystery, suspense, romance and secrets. This is one not to be missed!
Emerald Green by Lindsay Marie Miller is the first book in the Murder In Savannah series. It is a Young Adult story that deals with first love along with murder, mystery and suspense.
I was a bit confused at the beginning of this book and was unsure if there was a paranormal element to it. At this point I was a bit sceptical if I was going to enjoy this book. Thankfully I kept going and didn’t give in. As the story grew and the characters became more developed I really got into this book and was gripped to the storyline. The characters are very well written and the story flows well. The two main characters Addie and Tom are fantastic, although there are many occasions when I’d love to give Tom a massive kick up the butt. He’s such a stroppy teenager. The ‘baddies’ in the story are also so well written. Ricky was an arrogant sod, whereas Tony and Hugh are so evil you hate them with a passion. I’ve mentioned before in reviews of other books that for me, one of the defining characteristics of a great book are just how much you hate the bad guys.
The murder, mystery and suspense make this book a compelling read and I’m so looking forward to reading Honey Gold, the second book in this series. I’m also really intrigued to see the blossoming romance between Addie and Tom develop.

Having read a few books by this author before and book 3 in this series I was really looking forward to going back to the beginning and seeing how the Murder in Savannah series started and it was everything I expected it to be. It was beautifully written, engaging, exciting, with fantastic characters. I really do love this authors writing style, whatever she is writing about it is always a wonderful and easy read. Her stories just flow so well – they truly are a joy to read.
I love Addie; I thought that she was a great character. She was quite a mature character which I liked but there was also still that child-like innocence that came through at times. I took a little time to warm to Tom but once I did I liked him and I liked his devotion to Addie.
I thought that this was a great opening story for this series and I would highly recommend it especially if you are a fan of romantic suspense stories.
I really enjoyed this novel kept me on my toes throughout. This story is filled with romance, mystery and to be honest so much more you will get hooked from the beginning and enjoy every second. I loved how this novel isn’t predictable and kept my eye’s glued to the pages eager to read more. It does end on a cliffhanger grrr haha but I’m excited to get my hands on the next novel so i can sink my teeth into that! Overall this is a brilliant read with an intriguing storyline, amazing main characters and a cliffhanger leaving you wanting more!!!
Emerald Green (Murder in Savannah Book 1) by Lindsay Marie Miller is a mystery, thriller, romance that is full of mystery and suspense. Lindsay’s writing style keeps you engaged from beginning to end. There are more than one plot to this story that the drama and twists just keep on coming and keep you guessing. There is a lot happening and the story is fast paced and there are lots of questions left unanswered, which I assume will be answered in the books to come. This story has it all, betrayal and hurt, love and suspense, secrets and lies, revelations and angst, which all lead to murders. Lyndsay’s characters are realistic and as the story develops we reveal layer after layer, some good some bad.
You will have to read this story in order to find out what happens .
Emerald Green is the first book in the Murder in Savannah series, and it is also the first book by Lindsay Marie Miller that I’ve read. I can honestly say that I am in no way disappointed by the story that she has created. This book is honestly a satisfying read. It intrigued me from the very beginning. The dream that Addie had, the boy suddenly showing up at her school. It was a unique and interesting experience, and something that I hope travels through the rest of this series.
I originally wasn’t certain what to make of Addie at first, but as the story went on I quickly fell in love with her. She is absolutely one of my favorite characters, and one of the first that I’ve been introduced to by Lindsay Marie Miller.
Miller’s descriptions are absolutely fantastic, stunning and easily draw you into the story she has crafted. Her characters are relatable, easily pictured in your mind while you read. She transports you into the world of Addie and Tom and the drama and intrigue that surrounds them in Savannah, Georgia and Maple Creek High.
The murder mystery is definitely a good draw for this particular story, and the reveals are not what the reader would expect, and when they come they are rather large twists. The twists and turns are enough to keep the reader entertained and further draw them into this fantastic story.
Honestly, I wasn’t certain how fast I would read this book, but the fact that I’d finished it in two days or maybe it was less, I don’t honestly remember. It was that good, and rapid page turning (which at first confused my poor Kindle Fire) had me simply forgetting the world around me and living for the story that Lindsay Marie Miller crafted in this novel.
Emerald Green (Murder in Savannah Book 1)
By Lindsay Marie Miller
3 Stars
Emerald Green is the first read for me by this author. The story revolves around Addie Smith and the new boy in school Tom Sutton and the typical lives of teenagers. Ms. Miller did well with packing the storyline full of drama, suspense, murder, and secrets. The story flowed at a good pace and Ms. Miller developed the character well. There was some romance present between Addie and Tom but this was mostly a YA mystery. Although the storyline isn’t something I would normally read, I would recommend this book to those that love YA books.
