Reese Hudson meant to destroy mementos from her last failed relationship, not burn down an outhouse and incur the wrath of a sexy park ranger. When the judge rejects her offer to pay for the structure and sentences her to rebuild it–with the hot ranger supervising–she embraces the challenge to take control of her life. Park ranger Wade Baker wants nothing to do with the rich city girl, no … girl, no matter how tempting he finds her lush curves. She’s too much like his ex-fiancée, and if he’s learned anything, it’s that women like Reese don’t fit into his world. And he sure as hell wants no part of her big city life.
Reese may not know a hammer from a screwdriver, but she’s working hard to prove she’s not just some pampered princess to be toyed with. And damn it if Wade doesn’t admire her tenacious spirit. If only they got along half as well outside the bedroom as they do in it, there might be a chance for them after all…

It’s absolutely lovely when you pick up a story that really has no flaws. This is the case with Romancing the Ranger.
The story-line was fun and flirtatious and the leads had tremendous spark and attraction. It was a real treat to read. I had a smile on my face the few hours it took me to read it. It goes by quick because it was just plain fun! I was thoroughly entertained and I’ll bet you will too! #TRUST
LOVED the characters and the realistic story line.
I loved this laugh out loud, emotion packed romance full of life’s embarrassing moments, lovable pets, meddling characters, a sexy gentleman park ranger cowboy and a klutzy, relatable strong woman not afraid, eventually, to grab life with both hands and go for it. Well done Jennie Marts!
After ending her relationship Reese Hudson is left heartbroken, filled with loads of self doubt and confusion, and in great need of healing. She knows the only way she’ll be able to fully move on is to get a way from ex and her overbearing father, so she decides to flee to the one place that has always brought her true happiness. Spending time with her grandparents, and visiting the falls always spawn some of her fondest memories, and sense of calming peace, so she decides to flee to the mountains for a little getaway. While she is at the falls she decides to set fire to the remnants of her past, in an attempt to rid her life of all the painful memories they bring, and ends up accidentally torching a outhouse…which also lands her in jail and at the mercy of a handsome park ranger.
When Park ranger Wade Baker happens upon a woman trying to burn old mementos in his park, he is beyond furious, not only because she should know better than that, but also because she’s putting the livelihood of his park in danger. When he attempts to stop her, he spooks her and she ends up accidentally torching the park’s outhouse, so he has her arrested. Between her little shenanigans and the fact that it’s obvious she comes from a life of privilege, Wade forms an immediate distaste for her, and thinks she should have the book thrown at her. After being burned by a ex, one who just so happens to like to maintain the same upscale lifestyle as little Ms. Firebug, he has little to no trust in women, and has no interest in getting to know Reese. But fate, and the judge, have different plans for him… the judge decides it would more beneficial for Reese to repair the damage to the outhouse herself so now not only is he forced to oversee her progress, but now he is also going to have to spend time with the frustrating and beautiful little firebug!
I am no stranger to Ms. Marts stories, anytime I have the opportunity to read something from her I jump at the chance to settle down with one of her delightful little tales. She never ceases to amaze me with her inventive story lines, and uniquely crafted characters that always manage to tug at my heart strings and provide me with plenty of laugh out loud moments! I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Reese and Wade, their witty one liners, undeniable spark, and down to earth natures made them a match made in literary heaven… and a true joy to discover! I highly recommend this read, Ms. Marts characters will warm your heart, lift your spirit, and leave you with a smile on your face!
First book of Jennie Marts that I have read it is a really good book and am looking forward to reading more.
