I would recommend you read Book 1, A Flawed Jewel, before reading this book. This book shows the characters of Book 1 during their married life. It was fun revisiting Pia and Thor and seeing how their married life turned out, flaws and all. They have issues just like any other married couple. I loved them in A Flawed Jewel and they are just as fun and entertaining in this book as well. The twins are great, both headstrong and cute. This is a nice little backstory about when the they were younger. Overall, a quick enjoyable read and I would definitely recommend it if you read and loved A Flawed Jewel!

Book 1.5 of the A Marsden Romance series a well written short story. Thor gets in trouble with his wife Pia after he does something dumb while he is drunk. A story that kept me turning pages as I had to know how everything was going to turn out. The Crystal Angel tree topper sounded beautiful. Quick read
I’ve read many of Dawn Brower’s books she is one of my favorite authors. A Crystal Angel will not be one of my favorites. I enjoy quick easy reads now and then but this one I felt needed just a few more chapters. We have a drunken contract, an eavesdropping instigating daughter, ranting wife, three runaway kids, oh it’s Christmas and best of all carriage sex. But it just didn’t mesh for me. I kept thinking that I missed a part of the story. I loved Pia and Thor’s story, A Flawed Jewel book one in the Marsden series. But this one just left me wanting more.

I truly enjoy reading Dawn Brower’s books because they are always so well written and the characters are entertaining and hilarious at times especially Thor. Thor is always so gruff like a bear but when he is with his wife or family he is a like a bag near because he loves his wife so much he would do anything for her but this time he has really ticked of his wife but will be rectify it in time or will he lose his family. Another great book in the Marsden saga.
