I really enjoyed this story by Jennifer Probst. It was a quick listen, but you still could tell that there was a genuine connection between Rick and Tara from their first meeting. It is an insta-love story, but Tara is not ready for that, and they don’t cross paths again until months later. The entire book plays out just over a series of meetings. Their first night, their rekindling, their future HEA. It is not a long, detailed story, but you still get plenty of emotions and depth from the characters.
Matthew Williamson narrates nicely. Good tone, good inflection, and a rich-sounding voice.
I tend to go into short stories and novellas with a grain of salt because in a lot of cases, something has to take the short straw so it feels like one thing suffers to make room for something else, and all too often that something is character development. That is so not a problem with Catch Me. Jennifer Probst has managed to pack a powerful punch with this quick listen. Without a doubt, it’s sexy, like really sexy, but it’s also so much more than that. What I really expected to be all about just one night between Tara and Rick turned out to be a whole romance. We do get some time jumps, but they make perfect sense once we meet these characters, and it’s not at all hard to get to know them. In less room than some books take to even get started, Jennifer Probst manages to introduce us to two very complex characters that I not only liked, I genuinely wanted to see these two get together. I was invested down to the very last word. And that’s not even all of it. Rick Steele is a sexy as sin alpha male whether you meet him in print or through audio, but pair everything we know about him with the voice of Matthew Williamson, and I thought my device was gonna overheat. This book was everything a good, lose yourself for a while romance should be. It’s emotional, sexy, sweet, and ladies, if you’ve forgotten what it’s like to be courted, this is it. It may not be the old fashioned style, but Rick Steele definitely knows his stuff when it comes to wooing a woman. Combine all of that with Matthew Williamson’s seductive voice, and this one is toe-curling.
Have just finished reading Catch Me. Jennifer Probst has created a story that is a little bit darker than some of the books I have read previous. Tara uses sex as a way to escape a hurtful past. It allows her for a moment to feel wanted and experience human tough but it also gives her the chance to set boundaries in other areas of her life. Rick is seeking companionship as well as a chance to move on from a heartbreaking betrayal. What started out purely physical became a bond that ended up stronger than either one expected. I received a copy of Catch Me in exchange for an honest review. Catch me is a book that uses inner struggle, steamy situations and precise wondering to tell a story of facing fears and making difficult choices on the pathway to becoming a better and stronger person.
5 Star review of Catch Me (The Steele Brothers #1) by Jennifer Probst
Audio Review:
Although this was only a short listen, Jennifer Probst certainly packed lot in to the story. I really liked both Rick Steele and Tara Denton from the first chapter.
Narrator Matthew Williamson is new to me and I enjoyed listening to his performance as he brought the story to life for me. FANTA-C the agency where you can experience the fantasy you have dreamed of was an interesting concept and had me intrigued.
Both have been burnt in the past and neither want a relationship, particularly Tara who escaped an abusive relationship. However neither count on the chemistry that immediately sizzles between them. I liked how all in Rick was and that he took his time to show Tara that she could trust him.
If anyone deserved a happily ever after it is Tara and I really cheered them on.

The Steele Brothers Series, Book 1

Looking for a quick, steamy listen? Jennifer Probst has it for you! Catch Me, the first in her Steele Brothers series delivers it all. Rick is hesitant to become involved again after he caught his fiance cheating on him. When given the recommendation to go to exclusive club Fanta-C, he decides to take the chance. Tara was in an abusive relationship and decides to have one night at the club to help her find her confidence again. Little did these two know the impact of that one night. This quickie had me at the first sentence. It’s quick, but the story is impactful. It deals with some serious issues, not taken lightly and at the same time delivers a story that is sensual and entertaining. It will leave you wanting to meet the rest of the Steele Brothers!
Matthew Williamson gives a wonderful performance. He has the perfect voice the alpha protective dom, Rick. He is caring yet forceful and the love pours through his voice. He easily transitions to Tara and gives us a wonderful listen.

This was my first Jennifer Probst’s book. This is a short sexy BDSM novella, and the first book in The Steel Brothers Series. Tara and Rick’s story is interesting. They share an instant attraction, and a strong chemistry. The story has a great HEA. Matthew Williamson did a good job with the narration.
“It was my first story of Jennifer Probst and I really enjoyed it. Also it was my first audiobook narrated by Matthew Williamson and he did an amazing job. One narrator that portrayed the emotions of both Tara and Rick. It’s a short novella, BDSM genere and also first book of the Steel Brothers series. Both Tara and Rick’s attraction was powerful and their chemistry was off the charts. I couldn’t have ask for a different happily ever after.”
