Paige and Cash have been circling each other for years. However three words in the heat of the moment send Cash running. Years later they are forced to cohabitate and work through their chemistry.
I loved the character of Paige. She was written as someone I could understand. She was both strong but yet knew when to step back. I loved the way she dealt with Cash especially in the beginning of his trainings. She knew he was someone who needed tough love and that doing odd jobs like physical work would be the best way to see results.
I liked the character of Cash. Though I couldn’t understand why he always felt like he didn’t deserve her. When he first saw her, I could understand, he didn’t feel like a complete man but after he started doing better he still that same attitude.
I am just glad that she is strong enough to stick it out until he could figure it out.
Well-written heroine fixes broken hero story. Didn’t read the first 3, but back story was handled well.
Another great read in this series. They are all standalone reads but reading the series you get to know all the family and friends connected and just how they make this big family. This one is about how Cash and Paige work together in the family adventure. Family values everyone lives by. A well written perfectly paced story pulling you in from the start.
I loved this book! I did not want it to end.
I have not read all the books in this series but after reading this one, I want to know all about the Montgomery clan.
This story is full of HOT cowboys.
One in particular seems to have “attitude.”
He was on the top of the world, and the rodeo bull riding circuit, when tragedy struck. His whole identity was tied to being a championship bull rider.
The women in this series are also strong, intelligent, and physically hot.
They can take care of themselves. They have strong, healthy relationships with other women as well as their men.
Paige was only a child when her parents had her on the rodeo circuit.
She grew up dreaming about one particular cowboy.
The timing for them never turned out to be right, and when the time came, Paige moved on with her life.
Only to end up in the same place as her “dream cowboy” but under difficult and unusual circumstances. Can two strong willed, stubborn people coexist while fighting an attraction neither is ready to admit to?
This book is a true blue ribbon winner.
I happily accepted an advance copy to review in exchange for my honest opinion.
My opinion is that you want to buy and read this book!
Cash Montgomery has about hit bottom, he’s drinking too much and has no real idea what he even wants to do. Travis is giving him some brotherly advice not to fall like he himself had. Just before everything goes haywire with Travis’ wife Caroline going into labor, Cash asks if he could move into the old Fitzgerald place. It’s Caroline’s property and has been sitting empty since her father died. With Travis’ approval that’s what he sets out to do.
Paige Ryan has been helping her step-brother Leo with the bar and grill, but soon she will begin working at the hospital and then start her classes to become a Physician’s Assistant. Here’s the first twist, Caroline has offered Paige the house at a reasonable rent while she’s working and going to school.
With all the excitement surround the birth nobody knows that Paige and Cash are both going to be living in the house. Now since these two have history, it’s going to get very interesting.
There’s much going on in this one, Travis makes Paige an offer, Cash finds something he really likes to do and then there is that crazy attraction between these two.
A fun read, with plenty of drama, healing and romance with plenty of heat.
I can’t get enough of this series! It’s not all about love and sex, but it gets into real life ups and downs. The author has such a way with words that you feel like you know these characters personally and are watching over their shoulders all the time!
The Montgomery family is important in Whispering Springs and when one of them is injured, they all are concerned. Cash Montgomery was going to retire from the rodeo circuit but was severely injured before that could happen. His recovery was just as tough for him as it was when his brother lost his wife to cancer. The bottle was only slightly helping.
Paige Ryan had to find a new place to live when her uncle got married and was returning to his own home where she’d been staying. KC Montgomery offered up her uncle’s house that was sitting empty and she took her up on the offer. Lots of sweat and dust later, it was beginning to be habitable. Until she found out that Cash was also promised the place.
Agreeing to make it work until she left in four months for in depth medical training, they both stayed away from each other whenever possible. Cash didn’t know she was watching over him when he fell for her and she hoped he never did.
Sparks flying mildly describes the tension and attraction between them. Knowing there was an end date made it work. Until it didn’t!
Loved it and can’t wait to read the next one!
This is book 4 of the Whispering Springs, Texas series. Another great book by Cynthia D’Alba! When Cash is injured by a crazy bull, his rodeo life is over. He moves back to Whispering Springs to start a new life. Paige moves to Whispering Springs after her parents die. Little did either of them know that they would be sharing a place. Paige and Cash have a past though. As they try to rebuild their lives, their friendship grows again. Will it grow to be permanent? I really enjoyed reading as their story played out. Love this book!
