This story man, I was finally happy to hear Jesse and Cage’s side of things. You will have so many things you been wondering about unfold. Geeze, the Blush Baby, going to give them a run for their money. This is a read worth checking out. I kept this review short, because I did not want to spoil anything for the fans. I don’t want to hint to much, because I want you be surprise and read their stories, in their eyes.

In this book you get to see more from Cage and Jesses standpoint. How hard they fell for their girls and how they have a soft spot for them. Also we see a little more of the whole Ian crap show. Can’t wait for him to get what he deserves! Can’t wait to see how having Nicole in board will change things up in the next book
I could hear the stories of Jessie and Lucy and Cage and Sera over and over again…it is that good. In this book we get Jesse and Cage’s POV with all the hotness that was delivered in the first installments of the Rock Star series. We are also introduced to Nicole, the new Blush Baby, who just hopped aboard the tour bus and has gotten one of the rock stars attention. Oh, this is going to be good, I just know it!! Off to read Ballad.

Honestly the beginning of this story was AMAZING! We got to look into the past with Cage and Jesse and how these men became the men they are today. The middle of the story I was able to skim over, it was when everyone first met again from a different perspective, we really didn’t learn anything. The ending, again amazing. We got to learn a little more about what happened with Ian, and we got to meet Nicole! I wish this one would have been a shorter novella though, explaining the past. I love this series and love Anne’s writing, but this story took me longer to read than I though.
This book answered a lot of questions. It relays a lot of the story line from the other books but gave more detail. Loved every minute of it. Just getting to know more about these characters was well worth it. Another great story from Anne Mercier.
Great book! Loved getting to know more about Cage and Jesse’s pasts. Then the arrival of new characters too. So exciting! Can’t wait for side characters to find their partners. Going drive straight into book 6
Do you ever wonder, when you are reading a book, what is going on in the other person’s mind? Do you ever wonder what is going on from the other viewpoint of story? This book gives you that!
This book takes bits and pieces of Jesse and Lucy’s story, and bits and pieces of Sera and Cage’s story, and flips the script. We get details that we weren’t given before, which enlightens us to some of the emotions and thoughts behind the events of those books. It’s definitely interesting!
We are also introduced to the Blush Baby! There are some heated hints at what is coming next! This book really is exactly what it’s advertised to be: a fun “Interlude” between books, an introduction to what we have to look forward to!
Thus is my personal favorite of the series. It is told from the male perspective of the characters from the previous books
