This book is exactly what I crave in a good read. It’s got hot mate less wolves, an old established family of powerfully prominent werewolves, a beautiful daughter who only wants to become a doctor despite her family’s political maneuverings and a cursed matriarch who tries repeatedly to kill her daughter. You won’t be disappointed with this book because the author did an extraordinary job!
Although reluctant at first Sam decides to go home for the holidays.
While on the plane of all places she meets her mate? She doesn’t want a mate.
Chase is returning home for a few weeks after his third tour of duty.
He doesn’t know what to think when his wolf pipes up.
There are a few things in the way however of these two getting together and the biggest is her Noble Family.
Well as to the old ways a hunt is on and if there is any hope for this couple Chase will win.
The narrator does a great job with this story. He brought each character to life.
This story is funny, romantic, and has tons of suspense.
Damn, Damn, Double Damn Sam has one mean ass mom or maybe she is just jealous cause her daughter has the guts to go get what she wants to make her happy.
I really liked the beginning of this book but got a little slow for a bit after about the second or third chapter but started getting interesting again about half way through the fifth chapter. I like some of the character development that Krystal had going on and especially how realistic the love/hate relationship was between the mother and daughters you don’t a lot of the in books these days unless it’s the wicked step-mother.

I enjoyed this paranormal shifter romance. I thought that the story was interesting and it held my attention well. The book offers a entertaining blend of emotions, excitement, danger, action, romance and a bit of heat. I liked Samantha “Sam” and Chase. I thought that their fated mate connection was easy to feel. This couple had some big obstacles to overcome as their story unfolded and I was rooting for them all the way. As much as I liked this book, I have to say that I felt its length a hindrance. I felt that this story, this characters and the world they inhabit needed and deserved a deeper look. There is a lot going on in this book. From the romance, to the family drama, to this werewolf hierarchy and its customs, I just would have loved more details. While the couple themselves get a satisfactory (if soft) ending, I am left a bit unsatisfied with unanswered questions and an unresolved feeling. Still, I really liked it and am eager to explore more of this world in future releases. Only a single male narrator on this book but I found his voice pleasing and I thought he did a very good job in pulling you into the book.
The worst thing about this book was it ended before I wanted it to. It was just too short. I wanted to spend more than a few hours with Chase and Sam!
I really liked Sam and Chase and absolutely despised her mom and her other suitors (Hah! Suitors. As if.). God, I wanted to wallop her one something fierce!
The author was very good about player to the reader’s emotions and my moods swung like a manic-depressive without their meds. I found myself laughing and then quickly wanting to hit someone, yearning for them to get together and practically yelling for them to run as fast as their legs could carry them.
What can I say? I liked it. Now, when’s the next book coming out?!?
Samantha Demakis dreaded coming home for the holidays, she just wanted to focus on her medical degree. Crossing paths with Chase Michaels at the airport though has her wolf howling, but Sam has no interest in finding a mate. Her family had other ideas though and planned to force her to choose a mate, unbeknownst to her or she would never have gotten on the plane in the first place. Chase had long given up hope of finding his mate, he knows Sam is his. Family dynamics though interfere as the Michaels are considered bottom feeders to the Demakis nobility. When Chase finds out Sam is part of the mate Hunt, Chase will do everything in his power to protect her and claim her as his own

Another wonderful story from Krystal, she draws you into the characters that you feel everything they do. I look forward to more in this series
