A war is brewing between the hunters and the vampires and Chloe is determined to strike against the vampires before they have a chance to attack. Unfortunately, her plan goes all wrong and results in a massive takeover by the undead.
This group of unlikely heroes have the power of elements, magic and strength on their side. They have even recruited one of the original vampires to help aid in … help aid in their mission. But will it be enough? Will society ever go back to normal now that the world knows that vampires truly exist?
The Arcadia Falls Chronicles is the continuation of The Vampire Hunter’s Daughter. Following the format of The Vampire Hunter’s Daughter, The Arcadia Falls Chronicles is serialized into several novella-length stories.

I like the story because it is fast paced with action, some romance thrown in and the characters seem realistic. I am glad this was sold with all six books together or I would not have purchased them because each book is only like 80 to 90 pages which does not give enough detail. At least reading this together seemed like a more complete story.
I liked this series overall, what I didn’t like is that they were a compilation of a bunch of short novellas that could be combined into one good book. I’m more of a longer book kind of guy so I feel like she wrote the larger book and just broke it up to make more money. I rather pay a little more for a complete book.
Otherwise I did like the story and it was easy to read and definitely was entertaining.
Not super original but a good read anyway.
Entertaining escape on a rainy weekend, enjoyable romantic and action packed
Would like to read the rest of the series. Waiting for them to be free on Kindles. The local library does not carry this authors books.
Definitely needed a proofreader. Well told vampire story.
Pretty good read.
It kept my interest.
juvenile
I have just finished the first 5 Arcadia Falls books & I was sad to leave always a good indication of a good series – I need to revisit soon!!
This is a great collection for anyone interested in vampires, witches and other mystical powers. It kept the reader engaged and skipped a lot of the porn scenes found in other books of this genre. I found the story told from various pionts of view to be a cool feature as well!
Loved this series!
So much background heaped on in the beginning. Despite it being th he first in a series there was no understanding as to what was happening. Poorly written. I couldn’t get beyond 2 chapters.
I was aggravated that it didn’t end, but had to buy the next one. Wouldn’t have started if I’d realized it.
Love & War 4 Stars ~ So far so good! Unexpected twist at the end. I can’t wait to start the next one tomorrow.
Taking Talon 4 Stars ~ I love how well Jennifer wrote Chloe’s character. We are reminded that she is still a teenager. Her immaturity comes out. She has been through so much sometimes we forget. Christina is even becoming likable the further we get into this. It’s nice seeing the characters grow.
Vampire Apocalypse 3.5 Stars ~ I don’t know what it really was about this one but I didn’t care for it as much. I liked the idea behind it but Chloe seemed so much more immature in this one. Poor me, poor me. But then again as I said in a previous review, it just reminds us that she IS still young. This series has got me hooked.
Blood Warrior 5 Stars ~ I really liked this book. This one shows that it’s not all sunshine and roses, people actually DO get hurt. The feelings are high in this. The brothers are still having their battle of the wills. Anthony is becoming very likeable. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Winds of Fire 4 Stars ~ This book was different, we finally got to get inside someone else’s head. Drew was your main character in this one, NOT Chloe. It was a nice change. I love how Jennifer was able to show the growth of the characters in this series.
Innocence and Evil 3 Stars ~ This one wasn’t horrible but I don’t know that I really liked it either. Zander was pretty whiny and needy instead of the big bad Zander we have met in the other books. The description of the library and such was really nice, I could picture it all in my head. The battle in this book was done well.
Loved it
I really enjoy reading about Chloe and her crew. The last couple of books in the omnibus were told by Drew’s point of view and then Zander’s. It was nice to get to know them a little better. A minimal amount grammatical errors remain in this published version, but not so many that it detracts from the story. The characters are growing up and expanding, but they are still far from perfect and I like that because it makes the story more realistic. The vampire hunting world Jennifer has created keeps my mind engaged and I am going to enjoy reading the rest of the series!
