They call him Beast because he fights like one. Because he’s built like the tanks he rode in Afghanistan.
FROM NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING & AWARD WINNING AUTHOR SELENA KITT
Beneath Conrad “Beast” Beeston III’s fierce, intense gaze, his brooding temperament, his knuckles scarred from fighting, lurks a wild man, his strong, broad back darkly inked with his own hard truths.
He only has one … with his own hard truths.
He only has one mode, and “Beast” is it. He ripped through Tilly’s life, tearing it to shreds, and then he was gone, giving a stiff middle finger to a life of entitlement. He left her like he leaves them all—with little more than a broken heart. But for Tilly, there was one more thing.
He left her with an unbearable secret she’s been forced to keep for years.
Tilly’s privileged life, after her recent graduation from Mt. Holyoke, has come to a screeching halt under tragic circumstances. Had she really believed she’d never see her Devil Dog stepbrother again?
Now he’s coming home—and she’s forced to face his cocky smirk and arrogant swagger, to look once again into the eyes of the monster who left her.
Forced to confront him, what she sees is a raw, broken, tortured man who just might be the only person she knows keeping even bigger secrets than she is.
Worse, she still wants him. Even if it means breaking everything in her life wide open—even if it means unleashing the Beast.

Stepsiblings storyline that is well written, entertaining and has interesting characters along with a lot of unexpected twists I didn’t expect. There were a lot of things going on in this book that kept me guessing nearly until the end. A lot of secrets that are revealed through out the story. Tilly and Beast were in love but were torn apart with them being stepsiblings and an outside force that in the end Tilly had more forgiveness for than I would have in her situation. Beast comes back into Tilly’s life when Tilly’s mother gets sick and tries to keep her at arms length. But Tilly takes matters into her own hands and won’t take no as an answer from him. Their characters have a connection and passion. Overall I found the book to be enjoyable. Received an ARC copy from author for a honest review.
Great book! Interesting characters!!! Good story!!
Poorly written. Whining, annoying immature h. Silly disjointed plots. Three major catastrophes all take place at exactly the same time. Too many things are going on without one being well developed, easy to figure out all plots. Glad to finally finish the read. It makes me wonder if its another actually person writing this, this is not the quality of work from Kitt.
Couldn’t put it down. Hot and steamy yet on other occasions it had some tragic parts. Loved it completely in and out
Awful. Just awful. Run like the wind.
I loved this book!!!
Wow, this poor girl goes through a ton of horrible to get to her HEA. But it is an HEA, so that made me happy. It kept my attention through to the end, but it could have been just a tad shorter. I think a scene or two could have been cut to make the story more seamless, but it’s still really good. The super secret background plot was a little much. Oh, and just FYI Marines are called Marines. If he was in the Marines, then that’s the term that should be used when referring to him. Now, if he was in the Army, they are called soldiers. If a family member of a Marine called that Marine a Soldier, or if a soldier was referred to as a Marine, trust me when I say that said family member would be taken to school. It was really annoying how these two branches of the armed services seemed to be interchangeable when anyone who has a family member in the service knows what branch and the correct terms to use. I’m off my soapbox now.
Couldn’t even finish this book. I would NOT recommend it.
This was the first book I have read from Selena Kitt. It was a long book but I enjoyed the read, although I think a few chapters were just kind of filler and repeated on what was already written. The Female Tilly came across a bit juvenile for someone who had already graduated college. The male character needed more to him other than the female talking constantly about how he is closed off, but do not let that stop you from giving the book a read I still feel it was a good story and worth the read. There is a little light BDSM, her wanting to train to be a submissive so she can get closer to Beast. I feel like the characters development just kinda stopped somewhere along the way in the book when it could have been so much more.
Steamy. Very steamy
Awful
Love the intensity of the chatacters and the plot!!!
