She’s determined not to let her guard down again–among other things–around the infamous Irish lothario.
Niall never imagined his penance for one hot-as-hell night with his best friend’s little sister would be transforming her from a shy wallflower to a sultry siren. Helping her attract another man is torture…especially when he promised his friend he’d stay away. Plus, she wants forever, and he’s not a forever kind of guy. But Niall can’t stop wanting her. Can’t stop touching her. Can’t stop, period. And damn if he can remember why he has to…

Lots of angst, which is not my favorite. Decent story.
Khloe RIchardson is ready to met her prince charming, get married and have her happily ever after, the only problem is the man she’d like to be her prince is oblivious to her existence. She has struggled to catch his attention, and every one of her attempts have gone unnoticed, so she decides she is going to have to do something drastic to catch his eye. She figures the best way to get his attention is to win the attention of another man, and once he sees how desirable she is to this other man, then maybe he will finally take notice and claim her for his own. Now she just has to find the right man for the job…

This was my first experience with Ms. Simone’s work, and I have to say that it turned out to be a pretty impressive first read for me. The story line pulled me almost immediately and had me flying right through the pages… and staying up well past my bedtime just to see if Khloe would get her prince!! I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this story and definitely plan to read more of her books in the very near future!!
Highly recommend this one, it is sure to leave you with a happy heart and a smile on your face!!

Naima’s characters are so developed. Her writing is very descriptive. She does not use the same phrases that every other author uses.
I only read the first few chapters so if my issue is resolved later on the book then you can ignore my critque.
A bit annoying. I mean, if a guy agrees to have sex with a girl who is clearly drunk and mourning the loss of a friend it’s considered a dick move or even a rape. But if it’s a girl then it’s okay and the guy is a jerk for reacting badly. The girl has had valid reasons to beangry or sour of course, but I find it hypocritical that no one calls on the heroine for taking advantage of the guy in that way. She is just us much at fault here.
So a guy dies and his best friend has sex with the dead guys little sister, and then regrets it and won’t have anything to do with her. They meet again three years later and of course they hook up… predictable, with flat characters.
I loved every second of this book. a funny and original story
I enjoyed!!! Michael and Niall were friends for years and both men being projective of Khloé, Michael’s. Niall had feeling for Khloé and tried not to show them. Then after Michael died Niall and Khloé needing each other and Niall drinking and cannot resist took Khloé virgine. Next morning finding Michaels note he did everything to stay away from Khloé because he was not good for her. Through all different situations and bachelors auction and friend MAKING Niall jealous over Khloé he realized he loved Khloé and could change and he did not want another man to have her. Then after the wedding Michael’s olf lawyer gave Niall a letter to him telling him why he wrote the first letter and how he knew his sister, Khloe, loved him, Niall, and he could change for her. He wrote the letter in case he was not their for the wedding but if he was he would be the best man saying the words.
This was a predictions Michael had seen for his sister and best friend because of his love for them.
I could not stop reading until I finished the book!! Great book and wonderfully written! Thank you!!!!
To much use of bad Language. Didn’t finish book.
I liked so many things about the story. This author uses the name of Jesus Christ as a slang work and uses GD a few times. I find that offensive. I’ve never read a sentence that damn couldn’t have been used. I don’t get it. Would have given it a higher rating if for these things.
Just an ok book!
