The Game Plan: Spend the next 40 years in prison or break her lease early? Normally she’d be able to say that this one was a no-brainer, but things have definitely changed since she was forced to move in across the hall from Danny Bradford. A lot of things¿¿ She wanted to get through one day, just ONE day without Danny Bradford doing something to test the limits to her control, but with that damn … damn smile of his and his habit of leaving her contemplating manslaughter, she didn’t see that happening anytime soon. He loved his family, but some days¿¿. It was too much, but that was okay, because his small neighbor living across the hallway provided him with endless hours of entertainment. Not on purpose of course, but did it really matter as long she made him smile?

This series is incredibly hilarious . The Bradford boys are always upto something that you know is going to get them into trouble especially where food is concerned. But when they find there one true love , they love hard and they love fierce and they do what ever it takes to get their girl to marry them. I can’t wait to read the next installment. R.L. Mathewson
Oh my sweetness – this is in top 3 favorites of this series. I LOVE Danny and Jodie (aka Tinkerbell) so darn much. This one had me rolling with laughter thru the better part of the book. But Danny is definitely one of the best book boyfriends….hands down. Jodie is such a lovable heroine and a complete riot when she has any drugs. I adore how this story played out, tugged at my heart, and tearing up at their happily ever after. I have, honestly, read this one so many times that I’ve lost count.
Danny Bradford is an asshole. That’s what comes to mind when thinking about thinking about his character. And Jodi is just the person that can put him straight. Danny doesn’t want the complications of letting someone besides his family to get to him. But, it takes an accident with Toxic waste, in the form of bad cooking, to bring them together. Its also this accident that you are introduced to Jodi’s little problem when it comes to medicines. So between the Bradford obsession with food and Jodi’s reaction to medicine, prepare for the crazy. Along with the craziness you are also introduced to Danny’s siblings which I can’t wait to get their stories.
Jodi is ready to commit murder, she has been brought to the brink of crazy by her neighbor Danny Bradford. Danny has escalated from just annoying to full out jerk and Jodi wants out, she is ready to move. However the Bradfords own the apartment complex and seem to be insistent that she stay there.
In one moment Danny goes from just enjoying tormenting his neighbor to head on attraction. Danny knows Jodi isn’t going to trust him or that she has had any reason to but he has a game plan to woo Jodi and although it doesn’t go off as smoothly as he planned, Danny persists in trying to win Jodi’s heart.
I was cracking up through out. Jodi is sweet and kind of the girl next door type, but when she is with Danny she is a firecracker. Danny is confident, arrogant, and at times misguided but you love him for it. Another exceptional read from R.L. Mathewson.
Gosh, I just loved..LOVED Danny and Jodi, their story is hysterical!! This series is always a treat you just never know what you are going to get with the next Bradford, lol
Just like any other Bradford, Danny has a strong appetite for two things: food and sex. This family’s propensity for food is so outrageous, yet unbelievably hilarious I can’t help but laugh out loud sometimes when I read it. In addition to a questionable food addiction, it seems the Bradford men also share a talent for fluency in dirty talk, and are quite adept at other sexual activities. They also have some interesting theories when it comes to love and marriage. For example, Bradford men simply don’t propose to the women they love. Oh no. You’re supposed to kidnap your intended bride. Although the men throughout these novels share some similar traits in regards to their inability to fill up on food, and their amazing sexual prowess, each book is different, and this novel in particular had some unique aspects.
I always laughed at the Bradford food obsession and general shenanigans between neighbors in the previous novels, but The Game Plan offered another point of hilarity in Jodi’s unfortunate response to medication. This girl spent about 1/2 of the book high on meds with terrible reactions including becoming extra touchy feely. Jodi’s strange reactions to any kind of pain or allergy medication was pretty ridiculous, and quite unrealistic, but that didn’t stop me from giggling to myself. On second thought, this book probably should have been called The Game Plans (plural), as so many of Danny’s plans for seduction were ruined because of Jodi’s strange reactions to medication.
Although Danny and Jodi agreed to date a lot quicker than the couples in the previous novels, there is a much bigger and longer build-up to the point when they actually have sex. For some inexplicable reason, Danny and Jodi decide to take things slow, and don’t have sex until very late in the game. Now, this doesn’t mean the novel is dull in any way, shape, or form. Let’s just say they get extremely creative with some jelly donuts, showering in general, and there is a decent amount of rubbing involved.
The other books in this series also offered a glimpse of the other family members in the Bradford clan, but the family presence played a much bigger role in this one. The strained relationship between Danny and his father is of particular importance to the plot, and everything comes to a head in a family vacation to Disney World. Not necessarily the happiest place on earth when the Bradfords are on the scene. It might be the sexiest place though when you think of the total number of abs these Bradford men have. Mmmm, nice.
This is a really wonderful series and I’ve gotten all of them as they’ve come out. the author develops plots, characters and storylines that intrigue and interest the reader. Another writer who has a good editor. bad editing can kill a book, the reader shouldn’t be correcting your grammar and spelling as they read, it kills the atmosphere. no worries about that with this writer. I’ve found myself laughing until I wept with this series and enjoyed myself completely. I highly recommend this author and her series.
There are a few things you need to know about this series one when one of these men fall for their unsuspecting female all hell breaks lose and their in it for life, and two anything to do with food these men are all on it, “it’s nothing special,” she said, watching as Danny tore back the aluminum foil. “It’s just a meatloaf dinner.” All the men in this series are just funny, “it’s really not nice leading guys on, Tinkerbelle,” he said in a chiding tone as he climbed off the bed.” Jodi has two issues one when given medicine the girl goes bats*** cray cray and two you don’t mess with her man she’ll get even, “she beat the s*** out of your brothers,” Greg clarified with a huge s***-eating grin.” This series keeps getting better and better with each book this author puts out, she’s on my one-click list.
Love this series. Very entertaining
Love R.L. Mathewson’s Neighbors from Hell series! Always funny, loving, and full of charismatic characters
