What foul devilry is this? They told her he was dead. After six long years without a word, her knight falls onto his knees and sings poetry. Then he denies their son? Heed this well. She’s no longer an innocent who’ll giggle and tarry on his every word. The sharp edge of her tongue and knife is the only welcome he’ll get. She’ll not marry him. Besides, the pain would be too much to bear should he … he ever leave again.
Her attitude is beyond understanding. What voice did he have? The king commanded and he obeyed. Regardless of her hatred, the Templar knight weds. This time she will travel with him and he will win back her favor. It’s a long road from London to Hadrian’s Wall. Evil deeds weave a plot laced with castles, kidnappings, and missives. Will the treacherous journey split them asunder forever? Mayhap only in heaven will he rekindle the passion they once shared.

I just couldn’t get into this book. I read about a quarter of the book and have up. There simply wasn’t chemistry between the love interests.
Don’t bother. Very cliche. And the heroine is a shrew. Not sure why the hero kept pursuing her. He was a glutton for punishment
Nothing special. I couldn’t find enough interest in the characters to finish it.
Needed more intrigue, but was all in your face, harsh interpersonal behavior and lack of respect for each other. A true lack of wit, dignity and honor crept through page after page of offensively blunt and remarkably off-putting sexual innuendo. Really? I expected adult themes, not boring, repetitive, churlish immature and brainless bodies. What a waste of time.
Lost interest boring
It was a fun book to read. It held my attention.
When a book starts out with sex and just continues on that path it is TRASH, I read maybe 6 pages, got my fill of nothing and closed the book. The premise was a good one but there’s no real plot,
A bit slow at the very beginning, but not thing that should discourage you from delving in! Very enjoyable read!
Intersesting twist for a love story to start out with the characters already married.
Cute but no surprises. The characters were not particularly rich, but it was OK for a quick read on a plane.
