Sal and Emily are an unlikely pair but you cannot deny the chemistry between the two of them. This book was fast paced, there was some action mixed with suspense, and enjoyable. I liked this book.
I am so behind with this series!! But I am trying to catch up now!!
Emily has just lost her father, she has spent months nursing him, watching him deteriorate. She is angry that Dane abandoned her, so she goes in search of him. Her aim is to hurt her brother but in truth, that’s not in her nature.
A series of unfortunate events has her meeting Sal, who is also on his way to see her brother.
As untruths and disloyalty are uncovered, will Emily and Sal’s fledgling friendship grow into more? Will Dane be able to convince Emily that he did not abandon her?
Great read! And again I love the multiple POVs!
Kathleen Kelly you have done it again I cant get enough of the Savage Angels/=.
Now we get to Meet Emily Reynolds estranged sister to Dane Reynolds Prez of the Savage Angels MC, after there sick father passes Emily is on her way to give Dane a piece of her mind wanting to know why he left her at a young age with there father the way he was.
On the way there she has a slight car accident and is saved by hot sexy Salvatore Agostino Captain of the Abruzzi Crime Family who is also on his way to meet Dane as there is some issues with the trucking company that Dane owns being that the merchandise Dane is pushing is treading on there turf.
When he comes across Emily he is none the wiser who she is and thee is an attraction from the start, will the two be able to see where this could lead or will the rivalry between the two groups make it hard for them.
Heat, sex, passion and love I really cannot praise this series enough loved it and can’t wait for more.
MC life meets the Mafia. This book is filled with betrayal and action. We learn more about Ms. Saunders. She was more then she lead on. Emily has a rough life and trouble seems to follow her. Sal is captain of the mafia. He’s sweet, protective and one sexy alpha. I just love all the characters. On to the next book.
I’ve been looking forward to reading Savage Fire since the moment I finished Savage Stalker.
Again though, like with Book One, Savage Fire didn’t really have much to do with the MC exactly. It was because of one member of the MC that this story even happened, but other than that it was mainly the story of Emily Reynolds; MC President Dane’s sister, and Salvatore Agostino, a mob style man, high up in the Abruzzi crime family, sent to meet with the Savage Angels, and how they ended up becoming part of each others lives.
I liked Emily from the start. Understandably, after where life had led her, she was a little broken and awkward and just plain hurt. Her brother had appeared to abandon her when she was a child, her father was an arse who, despite his attitude, she felt the need to care for. After her father dies she ends up taking a journey of misadventure to find her brother Dane.
Following a few unfortunate run ins, all of which Salvatore witnessed in some way or another; seriously, this girl needed to be wrapped in bubble wrap or something she had such bad luck! Sal ends up being the hero of the hour after Emily finds herself in yet another scrape, and gives her a ride to Tourmaline, home of the Savage Angels MC.
I don’t want to say much else, for fear of spoilers, so I’ll just sum up. I enjoyed the story, I liked the characters; it was nice seeing the members I loved from Book One again, and meeting new characters too. Even though written from many POV’s I found it all very easy to follow, but I did however find quite a few editing mistakes. Non of them took away from the story for me at all, but they were quite noticeable. I also found a few sections of the book a little jerky in the writing.
I love Kathleen Kelly though and am looking forward to reading Savage Town when it comes out later this year.
Emily went to find her brother after she buried her father who died from cancer. He was an mean and an abusive SOB. He beat their mother and she protected her young daughter from him. She didn’t understand why her brother left her. Unforseen happen on her trip there and she meets Sal who is more than he seems to her. There is betrayals and secrets and kidnapping. It may have triggers for some.
Love Salvatore and Emily’s story. Kathleen knows how to pull you right into her SAMC world. Highly recommend this series
Another amazing story. I wasn’t sure what would happen. This book kept me on my toes.
I loved Emily and Sal, its like they were fated to meet each other.
I can’t wait for more.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the new characters brought into the story in this book. They have expanded the world beautifully and it flows easily into this story. I loved the twists and turns and starting to see slightly different sides of some of the characters. I am looking forward to seeing what happens next.
Re reading these books yet again is just as good as the first second or third time.
In this book, the mafia come to town and it goes just as well as you would expect.
Definitely a must read.
This second book in the Savage Angels not only gives us the grit of an MC but entwines a mafia aspect to it as well. The Prez’s estranged sister Emily comes in search of her brother wanting to hurt him the way she thinks he deserves. Along the way she encounters bad luck and trouble and each and every time is rescued by a handsome Italian stranger. Sal has come to confront the Savage Angels MC after learning they are taking the family’s business but what he doesn’t realize is the beauty he keeps rescuing is connected to the club. As trouble comes looking for both the club and Sal it will take combining their forces to save them all. Emily and Sal feel a connection that cannot be explained but can she overlook his world to find her true love. Steamy, action packed, angsty and there is always some entertaining encounters between Dane and Kat to put a smile on your face.
Loved it!! Easily drawn in from the beginning and could not put down. Storyline is entertaining, action packed, contained humor, drama and bad boy hotness. On her way to visit her brother after the loss of their father, Emily Reynolds is saved twice by Salvatore Agostino, a captain of a mob family. Emily’s a little naïve, sweet as honey but has a strong backbone to have endured her alcoholic father. Sal’s a mafia bada** who is protective, possessive and known for being ruthless and deadly. With Emily though we see a different side of his character. Loved their interaction and chemistry. Would recommend. Can’t wait for more.
‘Savage Fire’ is the continuation of the Savage Angels MC story. If you have read the first in the series you will remember Dane, Club President, finding his woman, rock star Kat. If not go and grab book 1. I really love the way Kathleen Kelly gives us point of views from most of the characters, it allowed me to understand what was going on with the other characters and how they all play a special part in this book and series. Dane Reynolds in the president of Savage Angels MC. After he was raised in an abusive home and was kicked out at the age of 15, he found family and loyalty in the MC. As president, he is a force to be reckoned with. In the first book, Savage Stalker, he found love in Kat Saunders.
In Savage Fire, Dane’s sister Emily comes to find him. Their views of their shared history are very different, because Emily was lied to by her parents. After her father dies she seeks out Dane, her only living relative, to give him all her anger. Things don’t really go as planned because on the way in her grief and sleepless haze, she has a car wreck and is saved by a stranger.
Salvatore Agostino is a high ranking member in an east coast family. He is sent to investigate infringement on their business and undercutting of gun sales by the Savage Angels. When he runs into Emily, his priorities change a bit. As with so many powerful, alpha males, he seeks to protect her, but she’s not a fragile doll.
grab all of the books in this series!!! they are great

I loved the passionate relationship between Dane and Kat. Loved the way the characters evolved within the series. Did not want the series to end!!’
4.5 stars
Savage Fire is book 2 in the Savage Angels MC series, and while Savage Fire can be read as a stand alone I highly recommend reading them in order.
Emily has had a rough life, she blames this on her brother Dane’s leaving and never coming back for her.
She’s on her way to confront him when the unexpected happens and stops her in her tracks.
Rescued by Sal, a member of the Abruzzi crime family, unknowingly both headed for the same person but for different reasons.
Sal feel a pull towards Emily, he finds himself caring for a woman for the first time. But he won’t involve her in his life until he’s sure she’s a good fit, that she can handle his lifestyle. (Such an honest crime boss lol) I laugh but I loved Salvatore, not quite as much as I loved Dane and Jonas but he’s so alpha and protective you just can’t not love the guy.
Savage Fire is full of action, suspense, sexual tension, hot bikers, a snake or two in the grass and romance.
Another must read from Kathleen Kelly, I can’t wait to see where this series goes next.
The second book in this series did not a disappointment! I couldn’t put it down!
It is easy to read, fast paced and full of excitement. The characters are complex Kathleen Kelly portrays them beautifully. Yum, Sal is certainly a book boyfriend to keep in your imagination.
I am looking forward to Savage Town where I hope we get to know a little more about Sal and Emily, either way knowing more about the Savage Angels will be a treat!
Just like with Book 1, I am not totally into the POV of more then just the Hero/Heroine. I don’t think it brings that much more insight to the story. I wish we didn’t know Dane’s backstory with his dad until she did because I felt the way she acted towards Dane was wrong. Also, their needed to be more of a buildup with Sal because i honestly didn’t feel it. The book was not my favorite.
I wrote this review based on an advance reading copy that the publisher sent me.
What a devious miss Kat’s mum had been. You are introduced to Dane’s sister Emily lovely story with her and Sal. Love Dane and Kat more the second time run she’s such a feisty thing and there’s more Grinders background which I liked.
