THE LONG WAY HOME is an adventure of love and reconciliation. Touching on themes of faith, family, and fortunes, it asks the characters and the reader “Who are you, and where do you want to be when you’re eighty?”

I needed this story/reminder. Never give up. “God will make a way, when there seems to be no way. He works in ways we can not see, He will make a way . . ”
I enjoyed the characters, the lessons and the overall story line and settings.
Wonderful life lessons on treating others with compassion and not looking down on them. That money isn’t what you base your life on.
Great storyline. Somewhat unexpected things happen. Interesting romance and human interest.
I love a good romance that is faith based. This book is it!! Great read!
This book is pretty good. The difficulty I found was it was very hard to put a timeframe on the story. And the unfolding of the characters seemed to happen rather quickly while other details seemed to drag
This one had me at the beginning. God bless Grandpa. Loved how lives were changed and what had to happen to get to the change. Shed tears & lots of smiles.
This one did not disappoint!
Staci Stallings is a wonderful writer. I love the way she makes you see what she is writing!
A great story that makes you reflect on the most important values in life.
This book shows the harm of the control money has on our lives. The power of money keeps us from what is truely important. It keeps us from things that might truely make us happy.
This is one of the best, romantic novels I have read. Stacy Stsllings’ characters were so well developed, and she used a grandfather’s library of classics to help accomplish this. I really enjoyed entering into this story and feeling and identifying with the moods of the characters. Lovely.
I love Staci Stalling’s books. This one was no exception. I like that her characters are real, with faults – imperfect but likeable and relatable. And they grow and learn from their mistakes, but not instantly. I like that I can see myself in the characters, good and bad. This story was about finding your way and that often involves loss. But loss is a part of life, and if we let it, loss can help bring us to a good place.
City man visits grandfathet and finds true happiness and great lessons in small town. Christian book.
Touching love story. I’m still reading and can’t put it down.
Very entertaining read. Keep me interested.
A very good book which I could not stop reading.
I was very hopeful early in this book. I wanted the young man to find purpose and his place in the world. I wanted the young lady to find relief from her burdens. They worked together beautifully. I was very pleased with the book.
I lit often takes tragedies to see reality clearly. This book was so great and the lessons learned are farther reaching than most would admit to. The time line was awesome.
Thank you so much, Staci, for this remarkable book with the theme of forgiveness. You could never imagine the end from the beginning. I enjoyed the twist-turney plot and the eventual outcome.
I look forward to reading more of your stories!!
Family
He is sent to see what his grandfather has written in his will in a small town in Kansas. She inherited his grandparents farm and her farther is trying to take it away. She’s turning the house into a B&B, and had a short time to prove she can do it. His grandfather believes in her and makes a difference in his grandsons also.
From the first chapter, the ending is predictable, but there are several touching and entertaining moments along the way.
