Book 14 of the Brides of the Kindred Series
Anything for you Mistress…
Thrace S’ver is an unwilling slave. Drugged and bound, he is taken to the Flesh Bazaar and put up for sale to the highest bidder. But this is not the first time Thrace has been on the auction block—he has a past full of horrors he doesn’t intend to repeat. Desperate to be free, he swears he’ll kill whoever buys him.
Lonnara … him.
Lonnara Trin is the Captain of a merchant ship from the all female planet of Zetta Prime where sexual relations with a male are considered unnatural and wrong. She has no use for males personally, but she needs a big, muscular slave or her business will suffer—Thrace fits the bill.
Soon Mistress and slave are embroiled in a desperate conflict which draws them intimately together. To her surprise, Trin actually begins to have feelings for her slave. And though Thrace swore to be free, he finds himself devoted to his new Mistress. When their differences threaten to tear them apart, Trin tries to grant Thrace his freedom. But she doesn’t realize that his heart has already been…Enslaved.

I’ve read the previous 13 books in this series so I think that speaks on itself about how much I enjoy them, and this book is no different. I completely enjoy how this series is interconnects all of the books so in order to completely enjoy them, I suggest you read them in order. The first 5 books in this series are still my top 5 books from this collection. Paranormal reads are definitely my favorite and when it comes to this author, I haven’t read a book from her that I haven’t enjoyed. I wish some of the females were a bit stronger in this series but I guess to show the “dominant” traits in the males the female shouldn’t be just as strong. If Lonnara and Thrace want to survive and make it out of their situation alive they must learn to trust each other completely and go against everything they were taught. It was a great read seeing how things would turn out. I’m happy with this story and I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
Fans of this series will not be disappointed in the 14th installment!! All the elements that we have grown to luv are here and if you are a newbie to this one, be sure to start from the beginning with Claimed (Brides of the Kindred, #1)or you may be a wee bit lost.
Enslaved introduces us to Thrace, a Havoc aka cousin form of Kindred, and Trin, a trader and Captain of her own space craft from Zetta Prime, an all female clan who have nothing to do with men. Trin finds herself in need of a body slave in order to trade with the females of Yonnie Six, and goes to the flesh market to procure one. Don’t want to spoil anything, so you’ll have to read the story to see how she ends up buying Thrace. Thrace and Trin face several trials during their journey to Yonnie Six, which brings them closer together as a couple, as well as elements that drive them apart.
I highly recommend this series!!!
While an entertaining read, I really wanted Trin to be less annoying and selfish. I liked it, just annoyed with these females.
I truly enjoyed and love everything about the Kindred world. But I’m also very fed up and annoyed with interpretation of the females heroine. I’m really trying to understand why we can’t have strong, interesting, and independent heroine who hasn’t endured some kind of traumatic event in there life to the points where they always have to feel so guilty about everything. I really wanted to love Trin but I had a love hate relationship with her she started out so strong and fierce and I was like “YES FINALLY” but she slowly started to disappoint me she was selfish, cold, and very unsympathetic to Thrace. Thrace sacrificed a lot to prove his loyalty and love towards Trin always putting her needs before his own and what does she do in return she wallows in her own self-pitted only think about herself and not once did she take in consideration how Thrace was feeling he was going through things as well. Overall a great read I just need stronger heroine for once.
