About the series: Some say it’s magic, some say it’s love. Others credit the sea, sun and sand as the healing powers behind Sea View House. Does the truth really matter for the temporary residents of this special place? In the coastal town of Pilgrim Cove, strangers are welcomed, and everyone else takes a front row seat to watch a love story unfold. The series begins with HER LONG WALK HOME:
… HOME:
Rebecca Hart has her life together–great job, great friends and ready to run the Boston Marathon. Her life turns in an instant when she’d injured in the bombing.
Single dad and veterinarian, Adam Fielding, intends to remain a bachelor after being “abandoned” twice. Once by the love of his life and once by a second-best girlfriend.
When Rebecca arrives at Sea View House to recover, neither she not Adam is prepared to let the magic of the place affect them.
Will these two open their hearts and run toward a new finish line together?

An very different read. Wonderfully unusual characters and dogs!
enjoyed this book immensely
Insight into what some survivors of the Boston Marathon went through.
It is a realistic look at survivors of circumstances beyond their control that change their lives forever. A reminder that we can overcome anything if we remain strong.
Beautiful tale of love and bravery
A heartfelt story of how the horrible Boston Marathon terrorist attack affected an individual’s life and hopes.
It was interesting to read a book so close to relatively recent events. It was also interesting to read about the obstacles faced by amputees. The love story was good as well.
A special love story. A magical location, friendly people, and snuggly animals make this love story complete.
Great storyline. Very original. Good read!!
Nice, cozy read. I was a little put out with both Rebecca and Adam at the beginning of the book; they wallowed. But I enjoyed their journey, and love the cast of characters, especially the ROMEOs. Would recommend for a quiet weekend read.
Fun read, but predictable.
Good read!
Poignantly predictable with likable characters who overcome challenges and find personal grow which is life changing.
