This was a cute, trendy, no consequences book. I enjoyed this short but great novella. The characters were fun to read about even though it wasn’t a full novel. I’ve read about this character in a previous book and I am happy that she got her happy ending. All around, this was a feel-good novel.
The story follows Rachel. She faced a bad breakup when she found her boyfriend of two years going behind her back and cheating on her with her hairdresser. She has her mini beagle, Chester, to keep her company. She’s been set up on three failed blind dates. Today is her last straw. Along with this, she’s got a crush on her coworker who supposedly has big plans today.
I wrote this voluntary review in exchange for an ARC copy.
A fun, short romance. I always like these books by Susan. They are all feel good and have good characters. I like that we get to see previous characters over again.
This series is a light fun read. I have enjoyed them.
