I loved this book! The relationship between the two friends and the bond they shared was emtional and relatable. I couldn’t put it down.
I enjoyed everything about this twisted story of friendship and demonic possession. I loved it even more since it is set in the 80s, The 80s is my jam. Mean Girls meets The Exorcist. Go read it!
A super talented writer tells the truly spooky and amusing story of a teenage girl who tries to help her possessed best friend. It’s also a charming homage to 80’s music and a delicious peek into the quirks of Charleston, South Carolina locals. Highly recommend for fans of YA paranormal and horror-lite fans in general.
One nit-picky thing though, I wished they hadn’t changed the original cover (below link), which was so eerie and totally 80s. Maybe the new cover is just the paperback version?
I really enjoyed this book and it was a quick read for me. I was expecting it to be a little more horror/scary but it turned out being more fun than anything.
