He thought he left the battlefield behind.
Logan Stone should be happy. More than happy, in fact. He’s Sutton Capital’s newest executive, working side-by-side with Samantha Page, the sexy, brilliant woman of his dreams. He’s no longer overseas in the line of fire fighting for his country and his brothers-in-arms as a Navy SEAL. But Logan is fighting a different kind of battle; one no one … one realizes he’s in. While he’s focused on managing his PTSD, something much more sinister enters his world and he must battle to save Samantha’s life and their growing love.
With all the heart stopping action and heartwarming romance NY Times bestselling author Lori Ryan has come to be known for, this stand-alone installment to the Sutton Capital Series won’t disappoint romantic suspense readers and fans!

I’m sorry this 7th book’s story line didn’t grab interest.
As soon as you start reading you instantly connect with Logan and wonder what he went through that got him where he is now. Then we meet Samantha and the laughs begin! Oh my goodness that woman is too funny! She seems to know the demons that haunt Logan and just how to chase them away. She makes him laugh, smile and think in long terms but those demons in his head may also be in his sight. Bring on heart stopping terror, action and ultimately love! I really loved this story!
On a personal note: As a military wife (retired) so many things that come up in this story resonate with me. When my husband came home from deployments he had to transition back in to our lives, the life of a civilian, and the world around him not being a war zone. This story really helped me see more through his eyes what he went through so thank you for that!
Logan comes back from war with PTSD, he meets Sam (Samantha) a wonderful strong woman. The instant connection is there but not acted on until a little bit further into the book. Sam does research on PTSD so she can help Logan, it is a clear reminder to all of us that our returning soldiers need our help and understanding. As the romance evolves, past events pose difficulties for both of them, they survive as does their love for each other. Highly recommend this book. Enjoy!
Terrific
This is a wonderful story on how you need support of all kinds. Sam meet Logan and thought he was hot. Now they work together. He is dealing with PTSD, she gets what is going on. Can they make it work.
Entertainment from start to finish…sexy hacker meets sexy Seal.
I did like this book. It made me interested in the other characters. It had a lot of action in it.
A fast, easy read for the beach
Great read and very informative about PTSD.
Great character development and description. Interesting story that kept my attention.
Very interesting story, that dealt well with PTSD within a very good romance.
I didn’t finish the book, but I thought the author knew what they were talking about with the PTSD and different therapies. I just kept checking my progress as I was reading and was often surprised how little progress I had made. Couldn’t help wondering how all of those protective, big-brother types had gone this long without making sure Samantha had a good security system.
Love the twists and turns in the plot. Also, real characters that make you appreciate the warriors that fight for our freedoms and way of life!
Too sexual…would like more of a story.
This book illustrated very clearly for the reader some of the challenges Veterans suffering from PTSD face.
It was a good read.
Good read, feel good story
