I literally couldn’t put this book down. I kept thinking “just one more chapter…..”
This book is phenomenal! Truly one that is almost impossible to put down.
2.5 rounded up to 3 to rate it. Right from the opening pages, the book hooked me and I made a mental note to look up other titles by the same author. By around the 60% point I made the rare decision to finish a book even though I was somewhat bored. It was the characters that made me stick with it because the same backstories were reworded again and again to touch base with the various POVs. The book was sadly in need of a strong editor.
What a book! I had trouble with the back and forth of characters: kind of hard to keep them straight sometimes. The more I read the more I began figuring out what was going to happen and to whom, but I did have a shocker.
I was unable to complete this book.
For whatever reason, I couldn’t get into this book. I tried but it didn’t reel me in
I had a hard time keeping with this book. I lost interest now and then because of a) the various characters were not connected well from the beginning. It took too much time to pull it together. Also b) some of the language was offensive in relation particularly with the pedophile character. It was an ok book but I bet this author could do a better job of keeping my attention. I’m not even sure there were 12. I lost track. Needs more cohesiveness in my opinion.
Lots of typos
Unfortunately, it had too much cursing for my taste. It seemed like it would have been an interesting read otherwise
Great read.
Awful. Started to read it and found it not worth the time.
This book didn’t match it’s description, but I really enjoyed it
Foul language nearly every page though it could happen that way. Severe racial slurs by one of the characters. Good character building, but I couldn’t handle the language, perverts, and racists.
Honestly, I did not finish this book. Why? I was offended by the racial/ethnic terms used (specifically the “N” word). It was completely unnecessary, there are other ways the writer could have used to convey the character’s (Nick) prejudice.
