Quentin Jacobsen has spent a lifetime loving the magnificent Margo Roth Spiegelman from afar. So when she cracks open a window and climbs back into his life—summoning him for an ingenious campaign of revenge—he follows. When their all-nighter ends and a new day breaks, Margo has disappeared. But Q soon learns that there are clues—and they’re for him. Embarking on an exhilarating adventure to find … find her, the closer Q gets, the less he sees the girl he thought he knew.
1 Bestselling author of The Fault in Our Stars John Green crafts a brilliantly funny and moving coming-of-age journey about true friendship and true love.

Coming of age, became entranced with charecters. Loved book read authors’ other works each highly memorable in themselves.
I laughed so hard I nearly had to change my undies… and then I cried like I do in all of John’s, the most hilarious man who ever lived, books. This is what they mean by, ‘must read’.
One of my favorite books.
This is the third book I’ve read by John Green. I enjoyed Fault in Our Stars and Turtles All the Way Down but by this book…I feel like I’ve been reading the same characters over and over again, just renamed in each book. This entire story didn’t have much action and the obsession that Q had with Margo was just a bit unsettling and annoying. About thirty percent of the way through the book, I just wanted him to find her already because his internal musings of how perfect she was really got repetitive. Not to mention the disappointing ending.
Not recommended.
After a fast start, one character drops out of the picture and leaves the protagonist to figure out what happened.
John Green amazes me with his insight and creativity when it comes to teens. The angst is palatable
My favorite John Green book. Don’t watch the movie just read the book of the better
This book is amazing! It is kind-of a coming of age story.
The sign of a really good book, for me, is the inability to put it down. That was the case for Paper Towns. I got immediately caught up in the drama and adventure, and later on I was drawn into the mystery and I just HAD to have answers. Staying up until after 4 am because I can’t put a book down is not unheard of, but it is uncommon enough to be a sign of a book that I will recommend to others. It was different than TFIOS too, in more than just story line. The whole attitude of the book was less reflective (until the end) and more fast paced and adventure/adrenaline filled. If you enjoy a good missing person mystery, or if you enjoy a novel with some teenage angst, or if you simply love John Green, you will love this book.
It was good but hated the ending and was predictable. All in all was a pretty great book!!
This is my least favorite John Green book. I didn’t find the characters as well developed in this book as they are in say Looking for Alaska.
