Wonderful book
This was a great series of books, very unique and enjoyable. Not your usual predictable romance.
A charming book. Not my usual choice, but very glad I bought this and the other 2 in the series.
Still reading
Delightful — unexpected….! ~ Used to the hero being perfect — this was truly a very good read.
Just couldn’t get into it, slow start and meh…
Well developed characters
Ok, if you’re from the hills. But I guess close to the truth. Didn’t enjoy it, flipping to the last chapter, still slow moving.
It took a bit of time to get into this book. I’m glad I stuck with it because I did enjoy it.
A good story. It redefines who is bright, intelligent and who thinks that they are.
While a good stand alone book, it is a great follow up to Marrying Stone
Wow. Pamela Morsi’s SIMPLE JESS is the book I just keep giving away to friends and family, (who, btw, never return it). But that’s okay, because I’ll just keep buying copies of my favorite book. A romance through-and-through, her characters are unique and push the envelope. There are no loose ends in her full-circle storytelling, with three well-rounded potential heroes, (although we are clear, there is going to be just one hero in Jess.) Her secondary characters are equally well-rounded with back stories of their own delivered through masterful storytelling.
I enjoyed everything about this book. It was a great story.
