I laughed my ass off! And teared up a few times while loving this romance with characters that are so real in every way. Finally, a group of girlfriends not afraid of having sex life and admitting it! So refreshing and realistic. Guys aren’t the only ones with hormones. I loved Amanda with her crazy rules and even crazier antics. She’s such a boss and owns her behavior, good and bad. That is until she met her match in the hot hunk, Shane. Talk about boss! He’s a great book boyfriend. While this story certainly had a lot of hilarious moments it was also emotional and hit on very real fears and feelings involved in relationships, especially new ones. I didn’t really get the explanation for the title of the book but whatever. It was neither here nor there in the enjoyment of the story but it is an eye catcher. I might be in the minority but I loved Amanda and Kyle’s special brand of friendship. I loved this author’s voice in her funny and sexy storytelling and fabulous characters. Speaking of characters, there are so many to choose from for future stories but I hope Hot Rod is in the mix. Can’t wait! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.
Loved it! Amanda was so sassy! I thought her dating rules were hilarious & ridiculous. I loved how she and Shane were always trying to one up each other. And Shane…what a hottie! There were moments that made me crazy, but overall I really enjoyed it!
Smart, witty and funny, Sex Snob had me laughing and cheering on the characters as they forge their way through life and love. Well written dialogue, which is sharp and very entertaining, combined with great character development, had me enjoying reading every minute of this book. From Hot Rod to rock climbing, from Mr Bader to rescue attempts for old ID, Sex Snob is a verbal delight. A new author pairing to me, Elizabeth Hayley has gone on to my one click list!
This is the first book by this author that I have read and I loved it!!! It had lots of comedy, sexual tension, angst, and the story just flowed…..it had everything I like to read in a book….
I love how these 2 women Elizabeth and Hayley have gotten together to form the writing duo of Elizabeth Hayley!
Sex Snob is a spin off from Pieces of Perfect which is now on my Kindle just waiting to be read!
I loved Amanda Bishop! She is snarky, sarcastic & at times brutally honest. She has set herself 3 rules to dating. Of course, this is to protect herself from being hurt. She meets Shane Reed at CrossFit. He is one of the instructor’s and threatens her with punishing workouts.
Shane keeps turning up while Amanda keeps trying to push him away. Thank goodness Shane is persistant.
And, I am happy that he broke through all of Amanda’s rules! I loved this LOL funny romance!
Sex Snob? Well once you read this 5-star story you will understand the title and it is so fitting. This story was SOOO funny and yet it was romantic too. I loved the characters, setting and “The Rules” that Amanda Bishop sets up for herself. Amanda is a free-spirited woman who knows what she wants at least she thinks she does. I found myself reading parts of this book out loud to my husband because it was just so damn entertaining. Sex Snob by Elizbeth Hailey is a must read for a good romantic comedy that will give you all sorts of feels that you can’t turn away from.
Amanda Bishop has had her heartbroken in the past and since then came up with her “Rules”. A strict code she has lived by and that has worked great for her. Being a young, successful female, Amanda feels that her rules are there to protect her, that is until her heart and body find the one man who doesn’t fit into her guidelines. Gorgeous CrossFit trainer Shane Reed is everything that anyone woman would want, and Amanda can’t deny that she finds him irresistible, but Shane doesn’t meet her rules. As the two get to know each other better outside of the gym Amanda tries to keep her walls up to keep from being hurt. Shane is determined to make Amanda see that she doesn’t have to be a Sex Snob and that she might find happiness and love if she just gives it a chance.
Alright, HOW HAD I NOT READ THIS BEFORE?? This duo is amazeballs honestly. They continue to leave me in tears from laughing so much and this book was no different. It was fun, hot, crazy as hell and it was entertaining and thought it was funny as hell, it held more spice and wit. I often stick to the more intense side of romance, but every so often I will take a chance on a book like this and for this one? I was impressed and surprised that I loved it as much as I did. I hadn’t known it at the time, but I needed this read. After reading so many intense and darker romances, my brain needed a rest and this book was P.E.R.F.E.C.T in all sense of the word. It was relatable, the main character going through things that some of us could easily relate to ourselves, she was my age, she is sarcastic in every way, and I could understand her struggles with her life, and I think that’s what kept my attention all the way through. I love how the authors played the characters out, their style of writing is perfection. This enemies to lovers romances was epic, funny and exactly what I needed.
5 stars!
This is another great book By Elizabeth and Haley. I give it 5 stars !!!!!!!!
I loved the banter between the sexes in this story. I was laughing out loud at the things they said!
Amanda is a sexy, smart, wiseass woman who has lived by a set of rules since her college sweetheart dumped her. She develops a love/hate relationship with her trainer Shane. He seems to have it out for her and pushes her to her emotional and physical limits on a daily bases. She hasn’t found love due to her crazy set of rules but she does have a friend with benefits to take care of her ummm other needs!!! I loved how the story progressed and you watched the characters grow. It also has Lily in it from the first book Pieces of Perfect….which by the way was also great!!! Amanda and Lily are roommates. I couldn’t put it down!
I can’t wait to read the next book by these lovely authors!!!

I’ve read the Misadventures series books by Elizabeth Hayley and absolutely loved them so when I got the chance to read this one I jumped all over it and it DID NOT disappoint.
Amanda has strict rules that she ALWAYS follows when it comes to “dating”. These rules may have made her a snob, but she has been hurt in the past so they rules are in place to protect her from getting hurt again. She has a good job, she has a friend with benefits and she does Crossfit to unwind from the day.Hot as sin Crossfit instructor, Shane loves to push Amanda’s buttons. But, Amanda also loves to push his buttons back.
The banter between Amanda and Shane is HILARIOUS throughout the entire story. I found myself laughing so hard at their jabs towards one another. Their overall chemistry was completely undeniable. Shane was on a mission to break all of Amanda’s rules. Amanda was determined to keep Shane form breaking them. Of course, the more time they spend together the more Amanda starts to let down her walls and let Shane into her life.
This story was lighthearted and it was hilarious thanks to the banter and Amanda’s lack of filter. For fans of Rom-Com’s this is MUST READ or really anyone who loves a great romance novel.
