Love these guys stories!
Loved this set going to read the fourth in the series. Unconventional and what and who the main character and his house keeper are still up for grabs, fun read
Made me laugh out loud.
Uplifting to read.
Humorous mysteries are usually neither. This is not the case here. Imagine a large Sherlock Holmes like Inspector of indetermine ancestry with an even more bumbling Watson written by an a master of English with a eye to humor. I found myself rereading sentences because I missed something the first time through and glad I did. Overall, it is satisfyingly yet subtly humorous without being annoying. The plots are clever, characters are credibly quirky, the endings satisfying and overall very English.
Loved this book! It’s full of fun, and worthy of Terry Pratchett. The narrator really grows throughout the series. I have purchased the 4th book and hope that Wilkie Martin will write more in this series.
Silly and predictable but fun
Laugh out loud funny.
I love the characters. You really don’t want the book to end
I’ve fallen in love with this series. I’m on book 3 now, just ordered book 4.
It was very different but easy reading and I would like to have more to read.
Well-written. Reminiscent of Wodehouse.
