Genevieve Munroe was determined to end the feud between her family and their neighbors, the Pentercasts. But accepting the handsome Alan Pentercast’s wager to marry him if he could give her all the gifts in the Twelve Days of Christmas song was surely going too far! Regency Romance by Regina Scott; originally published as The Twelve Days of Christmas by Zebra Regency
Very sweet romance. I liked the imagination going into the gifts. I didn’t care for Alan’s personality switching between sweet/ kind and angry. I didn’t think it fit. Good mystery within the romance though!
This book is the first in a series. I devoured the series in a couple of days while recovering from a surgery. Excellent reads all.
A typical Regency novel. Cutsie tie in to Regency\Victorian tradition? Check. Characters that don’t really talk to each other? Check. Obvious villain with an obscure string of crimes and dumb motive? Check. Everyone else being sparklling examples of humanity or dead? Check.
My True Love Gave to Me has a cute concept, and it works very well. The gifts are very inventive and entertaining. Sadly, the ongoing lack of communication between the lead characters spoiled the story for me.

It was ok. Didn’t do a good job of tiring up the loose ends and answering the reason for happened.
This was a great, fun truly delightful Christmas read for me.
A bit predictable and only slightly entertaining. Nevertheless, I read until the end. A way to pass the time.
I loved this this book. It was original, just a great read!
I enjoyed how the author managed to uniquely identify and present all the items in the Twelve Days of Christmas. The love story is interesting and there’s a mystery too. Hope you enjoy.
this was so predictable it was boring.
Cute story. A bit unrealistic at times but overall it was a fun read.
Good plot, well carried out.
An enjoyable read. The concern the oldest daughter has for her family is admirable.
