Well done but tragic and very much a tear-jerker!
While the writing is not earth shattering, the story draws you right in, and it becomes very easy to care about the characters and get invested in their story.
This was a book club pick and although it was readable it was not well researched and was just a sad story.
One of the better romances I’ve read. Did not like the sequel.
This book was wonderful. I cried all through it. There are twists and turns in the lives of the characters but you will love them all. I think I read it in a day and half, could not put it down. I have also seen the movie, but please read the book before seeing the movie. You won’t miss a thing and get so much more. I am currently reading book #2 so there is life after Me before you. It made me think about my life and the choices I have made. You will love the characters but you will cry. Great read!
I could not put this book down. Literally. I took a sick day to read it.
Loved the book!
I found this book hard to get into – the first part dragged for me. I enjoyed the second part. I actually liked sequel better.
This was a very well-written and thought-provoking book. I chose it at random, having heard nothing about it. The premise surprised me a bit, but I found I did not want to put the book down. I will definitely read more of this author’s work.
I read this book in about 2 days. It was so good but I didn’t like the ending.
Louise lives an ordinary life but she is trying to support her family, she takes a job, on a whim and immediately second guesses herself.
She starts working for Will Traynor and they couldn’t possibly live two different lives! But she sticks it out and the experiences things together they wouldn’t have had the opportunity to experience without each other!
One of the best books I have ever read! So tragic yet so beautifully written!
