Loved the entire set. Hard to put down.
I’ve been listening to this book series at the same time as Return to the Canadian West and It’s interesting how similar Elizabeth and her Niece are to each other and how their stories unfold.
It was a great series of good clean romance. Also learned about the Canadian Mounties
I love this series and highly recommend it to anyone who likes romantic adventures.
Love ALL !!! of Janette Oke books. The books are much better than the movies, so would watch the movies first and then read the books. The Canadian West movies are different characters than the original books.

I have never read anything by Janette Oke that I did not love. These books are some of my favorites.
LOVED the series … a great read after watching the t.v. series.
She is a gifted Author. I love her books. I love to follow the characters on through their lives. They become friends and you hate for the book to end. It was a real pleasure to have so many at one time to follow the lives of this family.

I have watched the series based on these books and wanted to read them. As usual the book is better but very different . I loved watching Elizabeth grow from a young city woman to a mature frontier woman. A fun read.
I enjoyed this series. I wish she hadn’t switched characters so abruptly at one point, nor did I like how the series ended, but I still enjoyed her writing style and would read more of her books.
I love any books about pioneers settling the west or going west in wagon trains.

Only read the first 4, but have read them several times! If you’re a fan of the TV show, you’ll love the differences between it and the books! After Elizabeth and Wynn get engaged at the end of the first book, their world changes drastically as they head north, deep into the Canadian wilderness on Wynn’s newest Mountie posting. Elizabeth struggles to adapt to such a dramatically different life from the high society world she’s known before. But her struggles are not in vain, as she slowly changes within to see the beauty and the wonder of her new life. Strongly recommend!
