Fresh out of prison, Frost had still been finding his way in post-battle Birmingham when Banshee walked out of the clubhouse for the last time. He didn’t know how much he was going to miss her until she was gone. He’d had use of the fiery little sweetbutt anytime he wanted, so he hadn’t considered turning her into something more. Now it was too late. She’d turned her back on the club, and it’s … nearly impossible to come back from that.
Banshee couldn’t bear being around Frost without being seen by him another day, so she’d walked out instead of accepting consequences for being a brat. Most days, she’s certain she made the right decision. She’d been the club’s plaything while she figured out where her life was going, but she was back on track now, and it didn’t matter how much she’d cared for Frost, because he hadn’t cared enough to tell her not to leave. Besides, there was no going back — not only because of what the club would require for her to make amends, but it would destroy her if Frost treated her as a faceless sweetbutt, no matter how badly she craved having him in her life.
Can the lynx and the owl shifter find a way back to each other? With so many obstacles in their way, should they even try?

Frost and Cheyenne
This book has loads of chemistry.
The MC were introduced in a way that will keep u reading until the end.
This is the third book in the series.
So my opinion of this book was that this book was well written and the story plot alone will get u juiced up to read this book. Overall this book was not lacking in no way.
I voluntarily read an advance reader copy and my opinion are my own.
Frost and Banshee relationship has changed since frost came back into Banshee life .So the chemistry is smoking hot between the main characters. Story plot was entertaining and I really loved how well the characters evolved. Good edition to the series I freely voluntarily read this book for my honest opinion.
This book surprised me in the best way. Frost and Banshee’s relationship changed when Frost came back into her life. Their chemistry is smoking and oh so complicated. I really loved how well they evolved individually and together.
When I first met her I really didn’t like Banshee but in this book she totally redeems herself. I ended up really liking her and she’s perfect with Frost. This is a great story about love and self-respect with a whole lot of steamy, kinky sex thrown in as we have come to expect from Candace
I’ve read all the books in the Rolling Thunder series and I can completely say that they just get better and better. I had favorite couples before but Frost and his lady are now my all time favorite. It a great story that you will love.
Love Frost and Shy!
It takes a real man to admit when he’s wrong and Frost does it with style! The relationship between Cheyenne and Frost is deceivingly easy but complex while being fun, sexy, and kinky. Candace Blevins always hits the spot for me with her characters and stories that, while they can stand alone, also build a world that just keeps getting better and better. I’ve read it once already and am re-reading it already. I love the RTMC!
Cheyenne, who used to be known as Banshee, is a totally different person than she used to be as a Sweetbutt for the MC. Frost did not know what to do to hold on to her, so she left.
When they meet up again, his feelings for her are still there, very strong and dark feelings. As they get to know each other they delve deeper and deeper into a dynamic that could only work for the two of them. Frost enjoys or I should say, it rocks his world to be a sadist, her pain fuels his lust.
Candace writes some of the best dark and erotic scenes. I held my breath reading these scenes, they were fascinating, just how they agreed to certain scenes, especially his need to inflict pain, the compromises they made and how they treated their shifter selves. Such a great story that had me glued to the pages until the end.
It’s the owl and the pussy cat, and yes, I now have Edward Lear’s poem in my head, which helped me enjoy this story all the more. Granted, FROST is a far-cry from a poem written for a child, in fact, it may not be appropriate for some adults, which has me liking it all the more. Okay, enough of the prattle. On to the review.
Likes: The story telling. The plot is evenly paced, and the story begins some time after the big battle (overall universe plot arch), as they’re slowly rebuilding and the Birmingham RTMC is still in need of new members. So we’re getting to know the other players in this series, which aids in familiarity and the dividing of teams (teamBobCat, teamDementor, teamFrost). Personally, I like a good sadist, so…. The interactions between Frost and Cheyenne were downright delicious, as were her frustrations (spoilers). I LOVE the amount of research Ms. Blevins puts into the different animals (shifters) and how those aspects bleed into the humans/shifters. She also adds a level of thoughtfulness to her characters that makes them all too human and that much more believable.
If you’ve read my other reviews of Ms. Blevins’ stories, then you know I make far too many happy sounds when she publishes a new story. Suffice to say, I thoroughly enjoyed this story. FROST is part of the new Birmingham RTMC series and while it can be read as a standalone, to fully enjoy the immersive experience, I recommend starting with book 1.
I absolutely loved this book.
This is the 3rd book in the Rolling Thunder MC
Birmingham, AL Chapter.
Frost and Cheyenne had loads of
sizzling and sexy chemistry.
The story was very well written and sucked me
in from page one.
Loads of MC action thrown in the mix.
I voluntarily read and reviewed this
book from an advanced reader copy.
Fresh, blazing, and consuming new paranormal romance with a second chance.
What do you do when you want a fresh opportunity with someone who slipped away? You take it with full commitment. The same goes for Frost, who is pinning for one of the former sweetbutts. But the problem is, she left the MC lifestyle on peculiar terms and with some resentment on their side. Furthermore, they are quite different, as shifters and persons, cay they find their way together or will they be forced to admit they are better on their own? I didn’t know what expect and I must admit I couldn’t imagine lynx and owl together.
Frost is a sadistic owl shifter, who just came out of prison. I like how he is levelheaded, determined, mature, and kinky dominant. Ms. Blevins never disappoints with her characters. She knows how to mend shifter and human persona so well. Banshee is former sweetbutt, but she wants something different now. She is strong, capable, and independent and secretly craves him back but on a different term.
I loved how their romance progressed and how they are forced to deal with real-life problems and solving everyday stuff. There is no angst or drama and I did not miss it a bit. The kink is amazing. The rough impact play when he lets his sadist out is brutally delicious. But his other side is very caring and almost sweet. Can you call a sadist being sweet?! Anyway, Ms. Blevins knows her kink and knows how to write about it. The best part is she blends it with strong characters who have depth.
I highly recommend this for kinky paranormal readers. It can be read as a standalone.
An owl and a lynx? Pretty unlikely pair but Candace Blevins makes it work with her usual creative flair. I adored Frost and Cheyenne together and individually. I loved their personalities, their dynamic as a couple, their confidence and the way they just clicked. There is a quiet intensity about Frost that hints at a dark side simmering beneath the surface. Cheyenne wanted more out of life than being a sweetbutt so she moved on.he watched her walk out the door and regrets his inaction. Fate intervenes giving Frost a second chance to fit into Cheyenne’s life and he grabs it with both hands. The sparks fly as they build a relationship.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. I have come to expect great stories that grab my imagination from Candace Blevins and that is what this story does. I love this book and highly recommend it.
This book took me totally by surprise. I didn’t have high hopes for it as I really didn’t like Banshee a secondary character till this point. In this book she totally redeems herself. I ended up really liking her. I guess the phrase walk a mile in her shoes would apply. This is an enlightening tale of love and self-respect with a whole lot of sex thrown in for spice. As with a lot of this authors work you have to accept that their kink may not be your kink but as long as it is consensual it is okay.
thoroughly enjoyed this latest installment in the Birmingham chapter by Ms. Blevins. Frost didn’t know what he lost until he let it go. Can he convince the woman formerly known as Banshee to give him another chance? I loved finding out. And Ms. Blevins didn’t make it easy for Frost or Banshee. I loved that Ms. Blevins focused on the relationship they were building as well as the emotions involved. And while the sexual chemistry was in fire it wasn’t necessarily the focus. I loved seeing Frost fight for what he wanted. He realized that Banshee gave him something he never noticed was missing. I love that Banshee had to learn to trust the man before her instead of the biker she sexed. Ms. Blevins made the transition seem seamless even as we realized it wasn’t. This story is well written. It is emotional and sweet with Ms. Blevins trademark heat. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and look forward to more from this author.
Freshly out of prison, Frost was busy indulging himself with any of the sweetbutts at the club’s welcome home party not really paying attention to anything going on around him until it was too late. She was gone.
Realizing he misses her more than he anticipated and then he finds her at work. There were so many reasons to leave her alone and yet he couldn’t.
When she was a club sex toy she was known by the nickname was Banshee. Now she’s back to accepting herself as Cheyenne, an artist who knows her worth but is still in love with Frost.
Their complicated love life gets more interesting when Frost who is Dom with an edge of sadism gets Shy to realize she’s not just a natural sub but a true masochist too.
Talk about an interesting relationship and romance.
Ms. Blevins has a way of bringing her Alph male characters and independent females to life in such a way that we find ourselves a part of their story. Like all of her other Rolling Thunder books I fell in love with this couple. Another great Birmingham read.
Frost definitely had a case of “you don’t know what you want until its’ gone”. And once he figured it out, there were a few obstacles, and they kept creeping up. Luckily, he was a problem solver and very determined. Oh, and he’s a sadist. Cheyenne doesn’t realize she is a masochist until she isn’t surrounded by the RTMC anymore. Even then she has some doubts but Frost helps her along her path. Her life is a little complicated, and a little not. It all depends on your POV. I loved these two together – their openness, their honesty, the give and take in their relationship. They had their good and bad times, they had problems and made compromises. They built towards a life together, and it was a wonderful thing to watch it happen. They made me laugh, they had me tearing up a few times, and they made me cheer for them. But in the bedroom, or anywhere else, they will definitely give you shivers. Whether it is good shivers or bad shivers is all dependant on you!
Wow! I am always blown out of the water with Ms. Blevins RTMC books! Frost is back with the Birmingham club. He watched Banshee walk away when she decided that the club wasn’t what she wanted any more. Months later he finds that she is one of the owners of the painting subcontractors they are using. That is the start of Cheyenne and Frost. Cheyenne is a strong woman who knows what she wants and goes after it. Frost decides he wants Cheyenne and he works to make her his. There is even more between them when Cheyenne realizes that Frost is a sadist and that she loves that about him. They work on their relationship with open and honest communication. I enjoyed the banter between Cheyenne and Frost and I loved her parenting style for her step children. I’ve already read it twice and probably will start a third time soon.
Frost is just as fierce and determined as you expect an owl shifter to be. Especially so when he wants to get a certain ex-sweetbutt back into his life. It’s not that she isn’t willing, but there are certain rules to follow before he can make her his own because of the way she left the RTMC.
Being just as inventive in applying his special brand of kink, as in taking the right steps to make this happen, I was submerged in a maelstrom of feelings from beginning to end of this book.
In her inimitable way Ms Blevins grabs you by the throat and drags you through ever more creative couplings in painstaking detail. Literally!
Add to that the day to day business of the Birmingham RTMC, which is never, hmm… , boring, and you have another breathtaking addition to this series.
The RTMC is rebuilding and Frost is out of prison. What was he thinking when he let Banshee walk away from the club? Men! Once he realizes his mistake, he pursues her in pure alpha shifter style. Now Cheyenne must make amends to the club if she wants to be part of Frost’s family. A lynx and an owl seem like a strange combo, yet they work well together. I love reading about the RTMC and was sucked into Frost’s story right from the start. Another well written story that captivated me and kept me glued to the pages.
