I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It was a fun read with a few twists and turns, never quite sure in which direction it was going to turn next. I loved the interaction of the characters and the suspense of what might happen next. It was a page turner and I‘m looking forward to reading more of Roxanne Tully‘s stories.
*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.
I might have had a little too much fun with this book. We meet Elle an event planner that surpasses expectations and strives for perfection. After her old company folded she had to find a new job but she is not sure if it will fit for the long term. Until then she is given her first event with an impossible timeline knowing that her job depends on how it turns out. At that very event she meets Scott who mistakes her for a normal guest which she goes along with. Sparks fly form the very beginning but she is determined to keep her job a secret. What she doesn’t know is that he is currently in the middle of a possible investment in her employer. The secrets on both side keep them from finding out for the longest time as things develop. It made for fun scenes to say the least and at the same time flows quite with development of their romance. Makes for a great read sure to delight contemporary romance fans. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
A Suspenseful Entertaining Read with a Fun meet, Comical Scenes, Perfection on line AND A love that sweeps’em of their Feet!

The Suspense part is mostly as She’s hiding her true Work from him, Making a mysterious air. As 1st she was afraid what he can do to her Position, then later as she was falling for him, Time never Felt right OR in the fear of his Reaction. Though, Aside from this, She was honest with him.

The epilogue was Gorgeous!
The story was smooth-Going, Loved all the characters! (But Their Ex-s are unlikable!)
So excited for Char(Her bestie)+Dean’s Story.
This was an amazing slow burn romance. A little case of mistaken identity, twists and turns in a relationship with a few surprises, and a HEA. This was like watching a great hallmark movie in my head!! A must read!!
If you are wanting a fun read, then this is the book for you. You will fall in love with both Scott and Elle and find yourself not wanting to put it down. You will find yourself rooting for them and just having a good read. Sit back and settle in, because once you start reading you will not be able to stop
Elle and Dean meet by chance at an event that she’s planned and he runs into her later while they’re both out getting coffee. Their worlds eventually collide and things come to light that end up snowballing.
Roxanne is a new to me author so I didn’t know her writing style going into this and it took a bit for me to get into it. But I did enjoy Planned to Perfection; this would make the perfect Lifetime or even Hallmark movie.
This is the first book I have read from this author and I really enjoyed it . This was cute love story between Scott and Elle . I can’t wait to read more books form this author
This is the first book I have read from this author and it won’t be the last. This was a very enjoyable story with great characters. I really liked both Scott and Elle. The premise was super fun – I always enjoy stories where one character isn’t quite who the other thought. This was a great first book in a series and I look forward to reading more!
I received an ARC of this book to review and this is a new to me author.
Scott is a self made billionaire and helps failing companies by investing and gets out once the business is successful. He latest venture is an event planning company and he attends an event that was put together last minute by the company he is thinking of investing in. While there, he meets a woman, Isabel. Isabel who goes by Elle, is the event planner, so she can’t tell Scott who she is when they meet, which isn’t a big deal until she runs into him at a coffee shop the next day. Deciding to keep up the charade is what she thinks is best since she knows that Scott is looking to invest in the company she works for, and she doesn’t think she will see him again anyway. Little did she know, Scott would pursue her. So the real story begins, with two people who are falling for each other while one of them isn’t exactly who she says she is.
It was an interesting story that I enjoyed. I personally would have preferred a little more *steamy* mixed in, but the build up to when he finds out and how will be react was satisfying. I’d recommend this book and I’m looking forward to the next one in this series.
This is my first reading by this author and it won’t be my last.
I usually put aside (or skip away) books that are writing in third person but I’m so glad I didn’t with this story.
From the beginning the characters pulled me in into their world and I stayed up till late hours to read as much as I could before sleep claimed me.
Scott and Elle had me smiling at moments and then tearing up at others!!!
Love the story and can’t wait to dive into the author’s next story.
This is my favorite Type of light read, a misunderstanding that would be easily explained going a bit to far. Just enough of those awkward moment to keep me smiling and engaged! This book would make an excellent RomCom!
Scott and Elle are such a cute hallmark movie style couple! This was a quick read that was light-hearted, fun, and flowed well. The characters were realistic and I could see something like this actually happening. Read it in a single sitting after the kids got on the school bus and before starting work. I always need something a little lighter during the morning, and this hit the spot just right! Definitely recommend and will be reading more by Roxanne in the near future!
*I received an ARC for my honest review*
Planned to Perfection is a great story. It did start off a bit slow for me in the beginning. The characters are wonderful and the story line is something I can see turned into a Lifetime movie.
Elle is a strong female character, who wasn’t looking for love. She takes her job as a party planner very serious and because of that she is one of the best in the industry. Scott is a wealthy entrepreneur, who helps bring companies that are in financial trouble back to life. He seems to have a one track mind when it comes to saving a company. I thought that Scott and Elle are a great match. Elle helps Scott look outside the box when it comes to saving firms from downfall. While Scott makes Elle realize her status in the world doesn’t matter, but rather who she really is.
You know how you read blurb but book is not what you expected. Well, that is not case here.Scott and Elle made my time with them perfect. I loved both characters, I was reading and feeling like I lived it. I can say that after reading this book I closed my app with goofy happy face and wish to eat something sweet. It was a perfect read and it made me feel hope. Roxanne Tully did amazing job with this story, she has a talent that makes you think that you are talking to characters and not reading the book.
