A beautifully delightful second chance love story for Kinley and Ryder! Ed, the moose has struck again! Very touching with a good bit of humor laced throughout and another winner by author Jacqueline Winters. Her books always strike just the right chord with this particular reader.

I have read all of the books and enjoyed each one.
This is the fourth book in the Sunset Ridge series. It was such a delightful and charming read. The characters were wonderful, relatable, and endearing. Another appearance by Ed the Moose! I really do love reading a good small town romance and this definitely fits the bill. Nice clean, sweet second chance romance that will melt your heart. Kinley and Ryder were a great couple and worked well together. The well-written storyline pulled me in right from the beginning. Really enjoyed the book and looking forward to reading more of the series.

Kinley thinks Ed the moose is out to get her when she returns to her hometown. His sudden appearances, then disappearances, cause her to have to deal with issues she left behind her in Sunset Ridge, Alaska. Will she ever forget her first kiss with Ryder, who is now the Police Chief?

Solid 4.5 star
Kinley and Ryder have a sweet and bitter history and now she is back in town after 9 years trying to stay under the radar while she looks to uncover a secret hidden from her since she was old enough to ask. The attraction between her and Ryder is undeniable but there are secrets, a past and a future she thought she always wanted in their way which leaves you second guessing whether their is a future together for them. I loved how they were both so closed off to beginning with and slowly opening their hearts to what could be and learning of the high jinks Kinley use to get up to has you laughing, you are frustrated for Ryder for the work situation he is on and then there is that secret Kinley needs to know has you turning the page and going through the highs and lows along with them.

I laughed, enjoyed and couldn’t stop reading Love & Moosechief. Kinley comes to her old town to try to find out who her father is after all this time and instead runs into the town sign. With her luck, Police Chief Ryder comes along and he brings back memories of when they first kissed years ago. I think if you enjoy small towns and first loves you will enjoy this read.

Kinley left town for the Army, never looking back. When he aunt needs help, she uses that as an excuse to come back. What she really wants is to find out who her father is. But it took her too long to come home, and the one person who knows is dead. Ryder is the police chief. He and Kinley shared their first kiss, and he stayed in Sunset Ridge. This book is a terrific addition to this series. The quirky characters in town, especially Ed, the moose, add to much dimension to this small-town story. I love how much Kinley shakes things up when she returns – picking up her friendship with Ava, renewing her relationship with Aunt Fiona, causing a big stir with the mayor, and touching Ryder’s heart.

The fourth book in the A Sunset Ridge Sweet Romance series a well written story that kept me turning pages. Ed is at it again, this time it is Police Chief Ryder Grant, and Kinley James’ story. Ed causes her to swerve off the road and crash into the town’s welcome sign, and Ryder is the one to come to the scene. Well worth reading. I want to read the next book. Welcome Ed the moose back as he makes Kinley James swerve into Sunset Ridge’s welcome sign to avoid hitting him with her car. Kinley is trying to sneak quietly back to town to see if she can find out information about her father. Kinley hadn’t planned to have to see Police Chief Ryder Grant, but he was the one investigating her little accident. Kinley and Ryder used to be friends, shared their first kiss together, but she had walked away when her mom died. Now she was finding it difficult to prove to him that a moose caused her to run into the welcome sign since Ed was long gone.
Ryder’s fiancée had left him at the altar with a broken heart. He had avoided relationships for the past couple of years. But having Kinley return to town is stirring up old feelings. Could Kinley give him a second chance at real love? Could they find out if that first kiss way back then could lead to more? But even if she wanted to stay, what about her plans to continue her life in the military?
This was a wonderfully written small town romance that begins with a near miss with a moose. This second chance at love was a wonderful read and I will be looking for more by this author. A must read.

Loved this sweet romance with Kinley and Ryder who were good friends growing up until she left as soon as she graduated high school for the military. Years later she returns to help her aunt that helped raise her when she broke her arm when she runs into the town’s friendly moose Ed. Sheriff Ryder comes to her rescue and quickly they are thrown together and reconnect as friends. Ryder never wanted to fall in love again after he was left at the alter by the girl he dated since high school but the more time he spends with Kinley the more he falls for her and she is due back to the army if she wants to re-enlist but she is not sure that is what she wants.
This is a lovely small town romance set in Alaska… I LOVED it! It is super cute and sweet, with great characters and setting..

I love Ed. He always seems to be in the right place at the right time. While back in Sunset Ridge, Kinley gets up close to Ed when she swerves to miss him and takes down the town sign instead. Who is the first person to show up? The town’s Chief of Police Ryder Grant. Kinley and Ryder used to be friends until she pushed him away after her mom died. I’m not going to leave any spoilers, but I will say I really enjoyed this fast read. If you enjoy small town romance with a matchmaking moose, grab your copy and get ready to want to visit Sunset Ridge yourself. I’m so glad Kinley was able to get some answers to her questions.

I love this town and it’s characters. There is always something going on and it’s incredibly fun to read these books! I loved the teasers we got in this book for at least the next two books (better be!!). I liked the bit of mystery and the sweet second chance. Plus, Ed, always a character!

Such a fun story, in spite of the emotional rollercoaster ride, or maybe because of it.
I love the characters and the dialog.
That moose shows up at the most inopportune times… maybe.
