Frankie My mother’s dying wish was to reopen her beauty salon and make it the hub of the community it once was. So when Mr. William Fletcher with his investment money and self-important name presents plans to scrap the row of shops where the salon is and build apartments in their place, I’m furious. Tradition and community are important here in Little Mountain View, which this developer with a … this developer with a heart of stone knows nothing about. There are some things money can’t buy, but try telling my treacherous body that. Every time I see him, my mind’s in a whirl and my panties are in a twist.
Can I keep my salon, my tradition, and my integrity, or will I give it all up for Mr. William Fletcher?
Billy
I invest, I build, and I develop. That’s what I do: bring progress to small towns like Little Mountain View. But some residents don’t see it that way.
I’ve found the perfect location for my next property development: a dying retail block. I’m in this for the money, and no small town hussy is going to stand in my way, no matter how beguiling she is.
She may steal my heart, but she won’t stop my plans.
Frankie is book two in the Curvy Girls Can series. Short, sweet and steamy insta-love stories about women with big curves, big attitudes, and big dreams and the alpha men who are man enough to love them.
High heat, oh so sweet, and always with a happily ever after. Each book in the series is a standalone. No cliffhangers.

Frankie is part of some small business that are having a hard time staying open. Mr. Fletcher is trying to buy them out to build apartments in the small town. Frankie writes him letter informing him that they are not selling and money can’t buy everything. William Fletcher writes back with his reply. Loved the back and forth of their letters and when they finally meet he’s already met her and bought her a hot chocolate and an 8:00 date. Wow, got cha. Instant love between two people who are both head strong and strong attitudes. Love how this goes when Mr. William Fletcher finds Frankie at home. Read and find out how their HEA goes! Small town versus big city……..but with the smell of her perfume he is enthralled by her
Frankie is the second book in the Curvy Girls Can series and is the story of Frankie and Billy.
Francesca, aka Frankie, is a young woman with a broken heart but a promise that needs to be fulfilled. When her mother died she had made the promise that she would reopen her mother’s hair salon and make it the same as what it had been.
William, aka Billy, is a developer from the “big city” that wants to tear down a block of shops and build apartment buildings instead.
What Billy had not expected was a feisty woman who was not going to let him bulldoze over the town. It seems that the hair salon is in the block of buildings and Frankie has her promise to keep. There are a number of very witty and funny letters that go back and forth between the two. Billy is intrigued by this woman as her letters have a special perfume scent that he very much likes. When Billy has to come to town to state his case in front of the city council he and Frankie bump into each other on their way in. He immediately knows who she is from the smell of her perfume and boy is he bowled-over. Frankie also states her case as to why the shops should remain as they are. But in the end the city council votes for the development, as progress wins but at what cost? It seems that if Billy wants Frankie he is going to have to develop a plan that includes the promise she made to her dying mother.
This is a sweet, fun, witty, steamy and interesting short story that was a joy to read. The characters are both great as they had me laughing and rooting for their HEA. Luckily for Billy he figured out what was important and that you have to integrate the old with the new in order to build a better future.
William knows from the first letter he receives from Francesca that she someone he wants to know more about. When they meet in person she’s so much more then he could of imagined and he’s determined to show her where temptation can lead them to so much more.

A developer wants to knock down some old buildings, and replace the small business with multi-family housing. Frankie is almost ready to re-open her mother’s salon, and she’s representing the business owners who don’t want to move. A series of letters between her and one Mr. William Fletcher set them up for an epic battle over what’s best for the location at Main and Bridal. But if he wins the city council vote, he’ll lose the girl. These two are just priceless together, and the letters that they keep sending… Compromises are made, and they find their happy ending. The book was an enjoyable read

I loved Frankie’s strong and sassy character who decided she will not let alpha Billy destroy her small town. These characters are engaging and have loads of chemistry that I kept turning the pages to see how the characters manage to get their HEA.

Loved it! I found it quite amusing and sweet that Frankie and Billy first communicated through letters, feeling that attraction before ever laying eyes on one another. At odds, but attracted to each other none the less. Not quite enemies, but definitely on opposite sides of the fence. And though Frankie couldn’t see her way clear, it was sweet the way Billy put his business sense and intelligence to use to find a compromise. But what else should you expect from an OTT alpha. From the get go, Frankie is just the sassy and feisty lady to challenge Billy, just what he’s been missing! Can’t get enough of Sadie King!

I found myself smiling and laughing at the way Frankie and Billy met and their letters were just sweet, even when they were serious. It’s short and sweet with just the right amount of steam to keep you blushing.
