Another good read from Ditter, this one definitely brings home the tellings of your mum not to pick up strangers and give them lifts!!
Tina works for animal control and her partner Mike is an Investigator, they’d had a weekend away planned but Mike’s dad had died suddenly and he has to stay behind to sort out the legal stuff. Tina is reluctant to go but ends up taking her two best friends instead, Roz and Bobbi.
They need a toilet break and pull over at a rest stop enroute. Roz ends up talking to a guy called Gary who’s car has broken down. Roz offers to give him a lift, but Tina is very reluctant, she does not give life to strangers, but Roz talks her into it.
It turns out that Gary is anything but a nice guy, he’s not even Gary but a serial killer on the loose that the cops are on the hunt for. He has a gun to Roz’s head and demands they take him where he wants to go. Her friends are now fighting for their lives against a killer who won’t hesitate in killing them all.
This is a fast paced, chilling, violent and often gruesome read that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. I loved it, couldn’t put it down once I had started, makes you think about they type of people you run into every day and just don’t realise how dangerous they really are.
This is another great thriller by Ditter Kellen. As usual she delivered an amazing book that kept me on the edge of my seat. The story flows well and is very well written. A hard book to put down. I recommend reading.

A friends’ vacation turns into a horror experience no one could imagine.
The danger of knowing or not knowing people is entirely enticing.
The author never disappoints!

This story is about 3 girls who go on a mini-vacation. On the way, they stop at a rest area and one of the girls asks the driver to take a guy she meets there. His car is broke down and needs a ride. Even though the driver doesn’t want to do it, she does, and that is where the nightmare begins! This is NOT a cozy mystery!!! There are some scenes that might trigger things in people, bad things do happen to these girls!!! I especially loved the ending! It is a well-written story and I enjoyed it very much. Another fast-paced page-turner from this author who never disappoints. I was hooked after reading the blurb and the actual book was just as fantastic. This is an awesome read for anyone looking for a great psychological thriller.

OH my goodness, Ms Kellen does it again scaring the living daylights out of me. I got to chapter 6 and my heart was pounding…could I go on? I read it in bed and did not have nightmares, how lucky is that? This book is such a thriller, a nutcase hitchhiker who thrives on torturing and killing people. Just when you think it’s over but notice 30 min still in the book, well I knew there was more to come.
Great story, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I was really excited to read this book after I found out it was a psychological thriller. The synopsis sounded good and this was a never before read author, so I thought I would take a chance on the book. While this book was a good read, it was not the psychological thriller I thought it would be. For me, the storyline was good, but I was not hanging on every word trying to figure out what would happen next. I did not feel uncomfortable when I read it, nor did I check my door locks to make sure I was safe (yes, I sometimes do this if the psychological suspense is that good!). The storyline was good, I just felt like the story was predictable and there was not enough psychological suspense for me. Once the first three murders happened, I felt like I could guess the rest of the book. I am sad that this did not turn out to be the book I thought it would be, however, I am glad that I discovered a new author, Ditter Kellen. While this book did not do it for me, I still am excited to read some of her other books! Even though I did not like the way the book was written, I still encourage you to pick up the book. Everyone reads books differently, and maybe this was not the book for me, but it could be the book for you!!!
An emotional story about 3 women who are heading to a vacation spot and along the way they pick up a hitchhiker. Turns out he is not a nice man and terrorizes them.
Ditter writes another page bone chilling story. She perfectly captures the emotions of all of the characters. A mature only read. It was hard to put down.
