In the fourth sexy romance by the New York Times bestselling author of Tangled and Twisted, Drew and Kate can’t wait to tie the knot–if they can survive the pre-wedding festivities. For most of my life, I never imagined I’d get married. But Kate did the impossible: she changed me. I think we can all agree I was pretty frigging awesome before, but now I’m even better. The road to this day wasn’t … better.
The road to this day wasn’t all rainbows and boners. There were mistakes and misunderstandings worthy of a Greek tragedy. But Kate and I made it through with our inexhaustible lust, boundless admiration, and everlasting love for one another intact.
That being said, there were some unexpected incidents in Vegas last weekend that could have been a problem. It was kind of…my final test.
I know what you’re thinking–what the hell did you do this time? Relax. Let’s not judge, or call for my castration, until you’ve heard the whole story.
And hold on tight, because you’re in for a wild ride. Did you expect anything less?more
Just when you think Drew couldn’t get any better, he proves you wrong. Beyond a reasonable doubt. Tied had my heart melting and gosh Drew is just something else. It was still so amazing to get his insights because it is just so entertaining.
Kate and Drew have an absolutely beautiful, romantic relationship and I love how they just know each other so well. These two are relationship goals. Hats off to Emma Chase to have tied everything so beautifully with one last test that Drew had to pass. After all, what can go wrong when having a bachelor and bachelorette party in Vegas?
LOved it! Wish I could give it more stars. Great way to end the TANGLED series. You want to dislike Drew but you just can’t.
Drew and Kate’s wedding day has finally arrived, but before we get to the details of that blessed event we simply must relive the bachelor party. I’m happy to say that the whole gang is back! From Drew’s brother-in-law Steven, to his best friend Matthew, his single friend Jack, and Kate’s sad excuse for an ex, Warren. We are privy to all of the necessary bachelor party must-haves, including poker, cigars, a nice steak dinner, and the mother of all strip clubs. Kate might even make a surprise appearance!
Drew is in top form in this little diddy, with his sarcastic wit and devilish charms. He does imply throughout most of the book, but especially at the very beginning, that he makes some kind of huge mistake during this bachelor party extravaganza which could possibly threaten the happy relationship he’s developed with Kate. After all, in the synopsis he says we’ll all be judging him with “what the hell did you do this time?”
In my opinion, he didn’t really do anything that could have derailed the wedding, which is what he sort of implied from the get-go. Overall, it seemed like a pretty funny evening wherein he tried to impart words of player wisdom to Warren. These moments were always hilarious, as Warren was basically a lost cause. Just goes to show you can’t always teach an old smelly dog new tricks!
The story really kicked up a notch and got good once the group finally arrived in Vegas. That’s when the party officially begins, as do Drew’s lessons to try and make Warren into his replacement as most eligible bachelor. Unfortunately, the beginning of the novel was a bit of a drag, as there were just too many flashbacks and side stories to really hold your interest. This made the overall flow of the book feel a bit disjointed.
Another reason the story improved once they arrived in Vegas is because we get to see Kate and her ladies enjoying their own little bachelorette party. Let’s just say that Kate and Drew definitely don’t have that whole abstaining-from-sex-before-the-wedding clause. They get down and out dirty! Although I do love that these books are told from Drew’s point of view, I do wish that we could’ve had at least one chapter told from the girl’s POV during the bachelorette party. Who knows what other dastardly deeds they may have gotten up to?
Can’t get enough of these two!
