When Roark left to join the army, his wolf pack was thriving. Whole.Coming home to a curse that destroyed his sister, two of his aunts, and any prospect of finding a mate of his own was nearly the end of Roark.Tasked with patrolling the borders, with keeping the Bellemare wolves at bay, for the safety of the whole pack, Roark knew he should’ve just focused on his Alpha’s command. But when he sees … command.
But when he sees her snooping around, asking questions that no human should know to ask, Roark knows better than to trust her.
Never mind the fact that she smells better than any woman he’s met in years.
Or the fact that his wolf is practically salivating at the need to kiss her.
Certain she’s a witch wreaking more havoc on the town, he sticks close to her, watching her every move. But the closer they get, the more his wolf whines for a chance at those berry-colored lips, the more Roark has to wonder if she’s really the enemy, or just someone who’s as desperate for answers as he is.

Mated to the Beast by Piper Fox is AMAZING!! It is the fourth book in the Ironhaven series, and definitely leaves an impact!!
Ms. Fox does a great job bringing her characters to life, and making you feel all the pain and suffering they are feeling as well as the love and joy.
I have read all the books in the Ironhaven series and each one seems to get better. If you haven’t read any books by Ms. Fox, I highly suggest you give this series a chance, you won’t be disappointed.

After the death of her best friend Jenna, Hailey went looking for answers. Her search led her to Jenna’s older brother who was none to happy about her snooping. One sight and scent made him know that she was his mate. This was another instalove novella in the series.
Roark is one character that is full of anguish and while it makes for a good character, it makes for a better plot. I love the path this book took.

Slightly darker than the other books in the series (it can be read alone) but this book still held all the chemistry, brilliantly described characters and well described story line of the others. Hooked from the start and there was no way I was putting it down until I had finished it. Cannot recommend highly enough; I absolutely loved it!

This was another great fast story that was about Roark and Hailey. Hailey is asking lots of questions around town and Roark is suspicious of why.. but is wolf is going crazy when he’s around her. You will enjoy this book and I can’t wait for the next.

This is the 4th book in this series and they just keep getting better.
Standalone with no cliffhangers.
I love that the books are quick but well rounded, they could be longer but don’t need to be.
Hailey doesn’t believe her best friend died in a car accident, while researching she is confronted by a BIG angry man.
Roark attached what he thought was a witch, but she was so much more.

This one wasn’t as sweet but I still enjoyed it. Roark was just so sad and I’m glad he got his happy ending. Looking forward to more.

A great beauty and the beast themed paranormal romance read
Hailey, assistant to the Bellemare mayor, is stopped by Roark, a wounded war veteran, when she is in Ironwood asking questions she shouldn’t be. As the story progresses neither of them can let the past go, a different direction is needed, and deciding on the right track could cost them everything. Piper Fox’s Mated to the Beast is a great beauty and the beast themed paranormal romance read to pass the time with.
I love this genre and this is a well-written plot and characters. I volunteered to read an advance copy for an honest review.
Book four in the Ironhaven Pack brings Hailey and Roark’s story. The author brings strong characters and an entertaining story line. It’s a well written shifter romance with detailed and descriptive scenes , moves quickly and smoothly and I enjoyed reading.

While I felt Roark’s turn around with Hailey was a little quick, I enjoyed seeing an aspect of pack life that I felt had been missing in the series previously. I also felt Hailey’s investigation should have been a little more in-depth, but for a quick read, I ended with a smile on my face. Looking forward to #5.
