Imagine a wardrobe malfunction at the gym. In front of the most handsome man ever.Dumped by his longtime boyfriend because of his weight, Ulric O’Neil moves to the quiet town of Meadowfall, hoping to start afresh. He’s tired of being chubby, and he’s tired of being lonely. He’s tired of being attracted to the wrong sort of person, too. Which alpha only likes other alphas? The bigger question: … bigger question: Which man would fall for a chubby, nerdy guy who loves his sweet snacks more than he loves to exercise?
Definitely not Gage Frost, a personal trainer at Ulric’s gym–he’s got the most beautiful face and a stomach-dropping smile, and Ulric knows he’ll fall for Gage sooner than later. Especially when Gage hugs him and kisses him and tells Ulric they can be best friends. But that’s where the line is.
Ulric promises Gage that he won’t fall in love. Thing is, with how often Gage tells him he’s cute, he isn’t so sure he can keep his word.
Weight of Everything is a 74,000-word standalone non-shifter MPreg romance with an eventual double-alpha-preg, lots of hurt/comfort, as well as the sweetest alpha who convinces his not-boyfriend that your looks aren’t the only thing that matters.

I like how this story challenges stereotypes in the omega verse setting. It is never good when people make assumptions about others or themselves. I like how these two men share their experiences as their relationship grows. There are some bumps that need communication but that is part of the need to overcome what you think the other is doing based on your prejudices. This was a wonderful and well written story.
There are so many firsts for me when reading this book!
This was one of the first Omegaverse books I’ve read that I actually enjoyed.
This was the first MPreg book I’ve read as well as the first double alphas that I’ve heard of.
Ulric is an alpha with a few self-confidence issues. Between his ex-boyfriend dumping him because of his weight and his mother constantly harping on him for never being good enough, and being a unique alpha who only seems attracted other alphas, it’s only a wonder that Ulric has any kind of confidence.
Making the move to a small town was suppose to be his fresh start. Instead Ulric finds himself falling ass over teakettle in front of one of the hottest alphas he’s ever seen. But what kind of alpha trainer would fall for a chubby alpha who’d rather eat sweets than workout??
Gage Frost may be a personal trainer, but he doesn’t look at Ulric and see a chubby alpha. He sees a man who is sweet and could be his “best friend”.
I really did like both Ulric and Gage. I loved that Gage honestly didn’t care for how Ulric looked, he just loved the man because of who he is. But will Ulric be able to overcome his insecurities to give their relationship a chance?
Ulric has always been bullied and made to feel ashamed all his life. Even at home where he is supposed to be safe, he is made to feel bad. When a terrible mishap at the gym brings Gage into his life Ulric does not know what to do so he falls back on what he knows but soon he and Gage find themselves being more than just civil to each other. What can happen between the two alphas? Will the two be brave enough to fight for what they feel, or will what others think always rule their decisions?
I really enjoyed Ulric and Gage. The two are great together and their chemistry burns off of the pages. It was nice to see the men find their way and learn to trust each other. I loved the softer side of Gage he is so much more than just the pretty face and hot body he shows the world. It was really nice to see the way he reacts to Ulric and all that he has suffered. Both men have trust issues that get in the way of their happiness. Their journey is full of intense emotions and sexual attraction. This is a fast-paced story that had me right from the start and did not let go until the end.
I love when a favorite author comes out with a new book, and Anna Wineheart is at the top of my list of must-read authors. I love getting to see cameos of her characters that stared in other books. Ulric had a hard life as an alpha. He has always struggled with his weight and has been emotionally abused by his parents and told how he wouldn’t catch a worthy omega by being overweight. It doesn’t matter to them that he isn’t attracted to omegas. He’s attracted to muscle-bound alphas. And he has the biggest crush on one of the personal trainers at the new gym he has a membership at. But an unfortunate accident with a treadmill and his resulting humiliated feeling may just keep him from going back.
Gage works as a personal trainer and looks like he can have anybody he sets his mind to, and that is true, but he’s learned that everyone just wants to use him so he can’t trust any feelings that he has for them. He also has a sister that has medical issues, and he’s helping out his family with paying for her medical bills. So he’s always short on cash, and he has a lot of pride and doesn’t like it when other people try to help him.
There were so many feels in this book and so much personal development in both Ulric and Gage. And of course, the chemistry was off the charts. I definitely recommend this book. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
A twist off series! Ulric comes to Meadowfall from NY. He meets Gage at the gym and boom. It’s really one circumstance after the other, so I was thinking this guys would never find common ground but Gage is so understanding and sweet. Two Alphas with hearts of omegas, both stubborn and strong but with the cutest cuddles. I like what the author is doing with the series. Can’t wait to find out what happens to Wilkie.
The author starts this one out with a bang and goes on full throttle to tbe end. I so identify with Ulric and his character resonated deeply with me! I liked that both main characters needed each other and become supportive and protective of the other. Ulric’s securities
broke my heart. He was so raw and vulnerable. The fighting sex scenes were hilarious and hawt! Ulric’s mom- no words, just huge tears. I wanted to slap her and just hug the stuffing out of Ulric! At times I wanted to kick Gage in the butt to wake him up and knock his pride down. Idiot alpha! Grr..
By the end of the book I was hoarse from laughing and crying and screaming as I read this. Brilliant!! What an ending. I’m in awe! This raise the bar! Surpasses all expectations!!
Weight of Everything by Anna Wineheart is an MPreg romance and first book in the Meadow Street Brothers series. Such a fun story! Angst, steam, sweetness, emotion, humor… Gage and Ultic have such a fantastic enemies to lovers kind of love story. Heated fights to heated embraces, this heated up my kindle. I love the story and the little details of the world explored here between two Alphas falling in love and finding family. These characters are amazing and I can not wait to read more in this series.
I found the beginning of this book to be a little rough. Although we had very briefly been introduced to Ulric before, and knew that he was an alpha who craved having an alpha, these characters were basically strangers to me. I think that a part of why I liked Jesse and Dom’s book so much, from the start, was that we had seen the two of them interacting and building up to their own book. As it was, it took me a while to empathize with either Ulric or Gage.
To be honest, it wasn’t until Gage finally realized that he was more than just friends with Ulric that I felt myself get emotionally invested in this couple – and that was probably 75% of the way through the story. But I have to say that I rather loved the end of this book, and it more than made up for any problems that I had with the beginning.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
This book was everything! I adored Gage and Ulric. The fact that Ulric doesn’t fit the societal norms for an alpha was done brilliantly. The emotional connections, the laughter, and emotions was wonderful. Adored it all.
I’m really struggling with this review. I loved the acceptance Ulric comes to about being healthy even if he is bigger and Gage loving him for who he is but there is parts I absolutely hated because i felt like they made a mockery of what a previous character in a related series went through and suffered so much for.
LOVE CAN MAKE THE MOST ORDINARY PERSON BEAUTIFUL
I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review
Ulric is an overweight alpha who only likes alphas. Gage is an alpha who meets Ulric and only likes Ulric even though he’s never been involved with an alpha. Circumstances lead them to becoming roommates and things take off. Anna has outdone herself once again with a story to make you finish the book without putting it down.
I love the way this author tells a story. It is sexy and sinful and so much fun to read that you just don’t want it to end. The connection to all the Meadowbrook boys makes this series one you want to keep reading. I especially enjoyed Ulric and his struggle with his body issues. He was so sweet and sensitive that he broke your heart.
I read and reviewed a copy of this book.
