If you are over 25 (younger, you probably won’t understand it), you owe it to yourself to spend a long morning or afternoon with this tale of 31-year-old Cassie and 35-year-old John. Not saying any more to avoid spoilers, but I chortled and cackled the entire time (and I do not usually do either).

Cassie was close to her brother, Lucas. When Lucas and his love decided to take a year off, her parents hired John to take over Lucas’ job. Cassie had an unusual aversion to John. She resented him immensely. There is a terrific ending to make it a perfect romance. Excellent book by a great author. I urge you to read My Boss’ Forbidden Daughter by Lindsey Hart.
John starts working for Cassie’s family grocery store when her brother takes off for his own adventures.
Cassie immediately seems to hate or dislike John instantly. Soon he feels back her layers and it’s a HEA ending youd expect.
