Kissed By Fate is the third book in the completed series, The Kiss of an Alien.
Alex of Tiburon breaks off life-partner negotiations with a woman he doesn’t love after discovering her with another. Relieved to be free, he journeys to Earth to explore the distant planet where his mother was raised and experience a world he’s only read about never expecting to find true love.
Lizzie, disappointed … love.
Lizzie, disappointed by the lackluster kisses she’s received from every guy she’s ever dated, gets the shock of her life when the kiss, delivered by the gorgeous mystery man at a party not only tastes like chocolate, but is also satisfying at an orgasmic level.
Fate in the form of a single kiss changes Alex and Lizzie’s future to an unexpected happily ever after, until unanticipated events threaten to separate them.
Will being kissed by fate keep them apart forever?

Alex was half human and half Tiburon. He lived on Tiburon with his family. He decided to visit the former Prince of Tiburon that was exiled on earth and was out with his son when he met a girl. Lizzie was half Tiburon and half human but didn’t know it. Her twin sister talked her into going to a party and she met a boy. Alex and Lizzie did the unthinkable between Tiburons and their fun and exciting journey to an HEA was filled with intrigue, danger and love. Good read

Another chapter in Chocolate and hot men. A girls dream. This a a good follow-on story. Settle in and get comfortable ladies. You aren’t going to want to put this one down until you turn the last page. Can’t wait to see who the author will write about next.

I loved reading this series and how in the end it circled around. Im a little bummed to not see the other two sisters stories though and it looks like this is only a 3 book series. I hope to see more.

This is an amazing story! I couldn’t put it down. I couldn’t wait to see what happened next to Lizzie and Alex. I hope there will be more on this series.
LizzIe has always been a little standoffish to guys. She gives in to her sister’s plead and goes to a frat party with her. She is supposed to distract their older brother and she does in a way. She meets Alex and they kiss. Alex is from another planet and kissing is a whole different thing to them. They spend a wonderful time together before they are discovered. When he is told of his sister’s illness, he rushes back home. Lizzie doesn’t want to see him go so she tags along. Will they be able to figure out what is going on with his sister and get a chance at happiness?

This is a second generation romance. The main characters are the children of the first and second books, which, I feel, should have made their meeting and fated first kiss easier to accept for everyone. I really love Lizzie’s strength as a person, as a woman, as someone who won’t refuses to accept an archaic system as reason enough to stay away from Alex. Alex is a sweet guy, caring and compassionate, honor bound. But he knows what he wants and he’ll fight to keep Lizzie as his life mate no matter the cost.
I think every parent wants the best for their kid. They want them to experience life, experience love, experience happiness. But tradition is hard to let go of. It’s why I wasn’t a huge fan of Keller in this story. There was a bit of hypocrisy here in refusing to acknowledge Lizzie and Alex’s mating because of tradition. If he and his friend Crag were able to find their life mates outside of tradition, why couldn’t their kids? Food for thought.
A good story overall. It was nice to see characters from the other two books, catch up with them many years into the future. My favorite even if I do understand where the parents were coming from.

Never been kissed! Lizzie lived a life of controlled restraint, managing her expectations. She never felt physical desire for the men in her life, so she expected to dedicate her life to her career. Alex, lived his life knowing that his twin sister, Allisa would go into the family business. He would be able to pursue his life of study and history. He visited earth and was guided by his hosts’ son, Craig. At a frat party, as a guest of Craig who is an alumnus, he met Lizzie. They had an instant unexpected connection. Lizzie followed Alex back to Tiburon. They each have to make crucial decisions that affect not only them but Alissa and their parents. Lizzie gets to meet her Grandmother! Do they make the right choices? Do they return to earth or stay on Tiburon? What about Lizzie’s studies and career? Nice story! A bit of an adventure, drama and good loving. It’s good to see Crag and Gabrielle again. I received an ARC from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This a well written and fast paced story that captivated me from the start. The storyline is entertaining and action packed. The characters are wonderful. I just loved this book. It was so well-written that it captured my mind and I was dragged along for the ride. Once I started reading I could not put it down until I read the last page.

The story line and character work were great. The book had a smooth flow to it. This was another great addition to the series. This may be my favorite book in the series.

Three and a half stars.
The third book in the series tells the story of the next generation with Alex and Lizzie. While it is better than the first installment, it is too similar to the second. The daughter of the “villain” from the first two books is also part of the story. Mini Spoiler. ***At least in this version, our heroine doesn’t have any serious emotional issues and the ending was more in keeping with a strong woman who has devoted her young life to being a scientist.

This one is so sweet! Loved the connection between Alex and Lizzie! I wish he was bit stronger against Shauna, but he’s a sweetheart. Loved Lizzie’s sass and that she uses her brain. Some good passion between these 2, and I loved the premise for this one. They are the son of the couple from book 2 and the daughter from the couple of book 1; they are in their 20’s now. Love the alien aspect and the unique ideas around their kissing habits, and liked the bit of suspense going on. Disappointed that the aliens still insist on their archaic scrolls instead of letting people be with who they want, and in Lizzie’s dad, Keller, he should’ve been more open to Alex and Lizzie’s relationship after what he went through in the past. Also, Keller and Gabrielle should’ve been more honest about the whole alien thing. Overall, such a fun alien romance! Looking forward to the next book!!
