A baker who sees the dead. One too many suitors. And a killer. Living in Honey Hollow can be murder. A laugh out loud standalone cozy mystery by New York Times Bestseller Addison Moore All books in the series can be read individually but are best enjoyed in order.Includes RECIPE My name is Lottie Lemon, and I see dead people. Okay, so I rarely see dead people, mostly I see furry creatures of … see dead people. Okay, so I rarely see dead people, mostly I see furry creatures of the dearly departed variety, aka dead pets, who have come back from the other side to warn me of their previous owner’s impending doom.
Noah and Everett are being honored at an awards banquet when an attendant is gunned down while eating my delicious peach cobbler. Not only is it proving to be a long, hot, summer—but with a homicide before us, explosive rumors I’m having to dodge, and the fact Everett has a dark secret, it feels as someone has lit my entire world on fire. There’s a killer among us, and I plan on bringing them to justice. There are secrets among us too, and a part of me wonders if we can ever survive them.
Lottie Lemon has a brand new bakery to tend to, a budding romance with perhaps one too many suitors, and she has the supernatural ability to see dead pets—which are always harbingers for ominous things to come. Throw in the occasional ghost of the human variety, a string of murders, and her insatiable thirst for justice, and you’ll have more chaos than you know what to do with.
Living in the small town of Honey Hollow can be murder.

There are so many secrets in this book that it is hard to keep up with them and all the action that is happening during a long hot summer in Honey Hollow. Lottie and the gang have lots going on and also a lot of secrets they are keeping from one another. Plus there are some awesome spots during this book that will make everyone happy.
This one really kept me guessing and kept me up at night reading. I was just so thrilled with it and how things were going in Honey Hollow with Lottie and the entire gang. I just can not wait for the next book in the series.
If you enjoy this book and have not read the entire series I suggest you do. You can read this as a stand-alone but it is so much better to read them all.

In this can’t-put-the-book-down book by Addison Moore, Lottie Lemon is undergoing a roller coaster of emotions. She is working against the clock to find a killer before the killer makes her the next victim! With a red-headed ghost, Noah, and Everett, Lottie will uncover clues to hopefully catch a killer, all while running a bakery, planning a big birthday party, and catering to a pregnant sister and best friend. With a secret of his own to reveal, Everett will have his hands full doing what he can to keep Lottie safe. Honey Hollow is having a summer to remember!
Good times… that’s what this book provides. It also give you laughter, tears, moments of shock, a love triangle, mysteries to solve, a small town feel with feisty and funny characters, and each book allows the characters to develop into more complex people. I love that this series has given me the chance to feel like I’m living inside Honey Hollow. Some series give just enough that you feel like it’s a cozy visit, but this series… there’s so much to read and learn that you feel completely sucked in, in an amazingly fantastic way. Kudos to the author for writing another outstanding story.
Lottie Lemon is back and oh my word does the plot thicken. When the heroes awards ceremony takes a deadly turn, that’s only the beginning to the twists and bumps in her life. Time put on her sleuthing hat, run her bakery, juggle her overly full cup, and hope to catch a killer. Addison has done it again, as she gives us a laugh out loud, with the feels tucked in this time around. Here is to hoping we get more Lemon soon because it is becoming a need for more.
This can be read as a stand alone but I highly suggest you go back to one so you can get the full effect of the characters.
Addison Moore is one of my favorite authors and the Murder in the Mix series is my favorite in the cozy mystery category. Lottie Lemon and her gang are full of love, laughter and as of late lots of secrets….oh yeah and then there’s the murder mystery. I never worry to much about that because Lottie always comes through :). I am definitely emotionally invested in this one. I recommend starting with the first book but go ahead and buy this one now because you will want to read them all!!
Lottie is back and things are getting quite the shake up!! Another body, a curious confession, and secrets galore!! The ending of this book made me literally spit out my drink. (My fiance was not amused) Addison kills me every time!! I don’t know how she manages to one up each and every book to this series!! This woman is phenomenal!!
Lottie Lemon was at a Salute to our Hero’s awards ceremony, where Everett, Noah and several others received awards. When the ghost of someone who has been dead for two years pops in, she knows it can only mean a murder is about to happen. When Carlotta stumbles over the body Lottie knows she must solve this murder. This case turns out to be a lot more than she ever imagined. She is also working a second investigation. How will they turn out? Lottie finally finds out Everett’s big secret as well. Will it end their relationship? You will have to read to find out. Shocking ending!
Lottie Lemon is the baker and owner of the Cutie Pie Bakery in Honey Hollow, Vermont. She’s also a successful amateur sleuth. Her husband, Everett Essex Baxter, and her boyfriend, Noah Fox ,are being honored at the Salute to Heroes Awards Ceremony for public servants. At the event, a high school friend of the men is murdered. Of course, Lottie gets involved in trying to find the murderer. Lottie is transmundane and sees the ghostly pets or friends of the newly departed. In this case, it is a beautiful ghost, Colette. She was the girlfriend of the victim. Complicating matters is the fact that Lottie could be pregnant. Is she, or isn’t she? The signs say yes but the tests say no… This novel can be read as a standalone but I really recommend that you read the whole series. The cozy paranormal mystery stories are fun, sometimes a little crazy, always have a mystery to solve, and are definitely entertaining!
