My family and I fled the Reapers. We were caught. My family is dead. And I’m a trophy. At first I was frantic to get free. I’ve heard the stories of these monsters. They pillage and plunder. They kill everyone who opposes them. And eat their victims. But then, in that crowded pen. In the midst of my fear. I saw him. Llyron. And my fear began to flee. I was fascinated by the patterns on his skin. I … my fear began to flee.
I was fascinated by the patterns on his skin.
I wanted to examine his eyes.
If I could look at him and not be threatened by his fury, I think I would enjoy it.
I’m still terrified.
But only because I can’t guess at what he wants me for.
I’ve never had any experiences.
I’m not that kind of girl.
Except now I’m a toy.
A part of me loves it.
It’s like a pressure.
Begging to be released.
It’s an ache.
An itch that I haven’t yet reached.
And that’s when I realize.
This sick and twisted union is perfect for me.
We…are…perfect. For each other.
Caged Property explores a much darker and much more gritty Athenaverse than in other books. It’s the fourth book in the Reaper’s Pet series within the wider Athenaverse. Readers should be warned that the situations inside this book are of a much darker variety than other books in the Athenaverse and should exercise caution. All books share the same universe and feature a happily ever after.

ANOTHER CLIFFHANGER TO KEEP YOU WANTING MORE
I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review
Llyron, half Ishana and half Reaper, searches for the savior for his race, all the evolved beings from Ishana. Ameld, a human and mix of Ishana and Reaper, seems to be the answer to Llyron’s quest to save his race. They go through various situations where Ameld’s latent and untried talents are put to the test.
I don’t like the fact that the story ended on a cliffhanger at a crucial moment in the book.
This was not where I thought the series was going. Don’t get me wrong. These two characters grow on me. There narcissism defines who they are because they of the alien hybrids they are. I end up being endeared by these traits that at first were starting to annoy me. The author does a good job of subtly reminding the reading that these two characters are different than the previous Reaper and human characters and I appreciate it because I wanted to slap a b!tch a time or two. This direction in the series ARC is not wholly unpleasant, in fact now I’m foaming at the mouth because it left it at a fight scene and I really, REALLY want to know what happens next. Who is going to be the next luck boy? I really need to know. There’s other answers I need, but that would lead to possible spoilers and nobody likes those

The story moves along at a fast pace and has some really dark elements that may contain some triggers but if you have read the other books in the series you should know what to expect by now. This book reveals a lot of hidden history about how the Reapers into the warlike race that they are but there is hope in sight. Firstly the unlikely alliance find Llyron in the hopes that he can aid their women when it comes time to give birth as Reaper babies tear themselves from their mother’s wombs killing them in the process. Llyron has been in isolation for hundreds of years doing genetic research but he knows his mate is out there and he knows that she is vital to his search but doesn’t know how. Ameld has always been different but when she starts having visions of Reapers her parents take her and flee knowing why but there is no escaping destiny. What follows is a thrilling adventure filled with passion, newly awakened powers, discovery and danger that could very well be the end of their journey but will have to wait for the next book to see if they overcome.

The fifth book in the Reaper’s Pet series this book is a little darker than the other ones, but still just as good. There is suspense, drama, danger, twist, turns, surprises, villains, and romance. I want to read the next book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is a little darker than the books before it in the series.
It has all the right ingredients that made it a real page turner.
Drama suspense action and twists and turns plus romance.
Definitely had my attention right throughout.
