Book 2 of this series and wow what a book. Callum was definitely worth the wait. We meet Rosie in Milo’s book and we get to see her heartbreak and she goes through such a difficult time. Callum becomes that friend who helps her through it but it then starts getting tricky as feelings start to blur the lines. As secrets are uncovered you feel more for the pair and you end up rooting for them and hoping they can overcome everything thrown at them to have a happy ending. You also see more of the lovely Waite family and the more you see the more you want to be part of their family. I loved this book and I cant wait to read the rest of the series.
My heart went through the ringer for Callum and Becca. I just couldn’t imagine going through what Becca did. The ending left me speechless. I need to know what happens next.
Waiting for Callum picks up where Waiting for Milo left off – technically, this can still be read as a standalone, but I’d recommend starting with the first book because this one does contain spoilers of Milo’s story. That said, Callum and Becca’s story was more emotional, maybe a bit darker than I expected, but it still has the wit and humor that made book one so much fun. Callum and Becca’s romance is a lot of wrong place – wrong time, so it takes them some time to get their feet off the ground. Plus, they need more than a casual nudge from another Waite to see what’s right in front of them. Despite all that, Cal and Becca are both lovable characters and they do have good chemistry even when they don’t see more than friendship in the cards. Plus, we get a sassy little lady to keep Becca on her toes, and maybe be exactly what Cal needs in his life. Oh, and let’s not forget that Milo and Vi to make some appearances, and Milo is always a hoot. All in all, Angel Devlin gives us another great story in this series, and I can’t wait to see what’s next for the Waite family.
Oh how I have longed for this book! After reading Milo Waites book I could not wait to see what happened next! Angel Devlin did not disappoint! In fact she left my mouth hanging open, jaw on the ground, utterly speechless on more than one twisted occasion!
I loved Callum, he’s more quiet and laid back than his brother Milo who just puts his girl over his shoulder and walks off like Tarzan. Callum has a massive heart and takes care of people but he does it quietly compared to Milo and he has a lot more patience!
I loved Becca from the start, and now we get to really meet her, and that woman goes through so much my heart hurts for her.
Waiting For Callum is full of twists and romance and so many giggles! I cannot wait to meet the next Waite brother Ezra after that epic ending! Five stars from me! This series is a must read!!!!
Becca’s world has been through hell and back and people keep sending more her way the more she finds out about her husband. She has been through so much and Callum cannot help but feel for her. He helps her where he can and just hopes that her life can get back on track. Becca is finally getting her life figured out so what happens when Callum won’t leave her thoughts? Does she go for it or does she let him go knowing that she may never be able to trust again.
I loved this book Callum is an amazing man who has been through his own hell. He finally finds his way out now he just has to find someone to share his life with. I can not wait to read the rest of the books in this series.
I have received a free copy of this book for an honest review.
This book was a real page turner from the very beginning with the great character and storyline development that kept me totally engaged throughout the entire book!
Callum is all heart. There isn’t anything he won’t do for the people he loves, no task to large or small. Finding himself as a shoulder to lean on for Becca is unexpected as she copes with the sudden loss of her husband but it’s a role he enjoys. Of course, Callum is struggling with his own personal issues so he shies away from dating. Becca’s world crumbled that fateful night but slowly, she works to rebuild and figure out life as a single parent. The Waite’s were a great help but she moved away to lick her wounds and be near her parents. When she runs into Callum again, she is struck at how comfortable he still makes her feel. These two are great at having ‘meet-cutes’ but will they listen to fate and follow their hearts? I love the Waite family. There are so many great layers to each story that are providing a lot of unpredictability as I get to know each sibling. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
