Nathan Liddell is Hollywood’s most eligible billionaire bachelor. Women flock to him, his wallet is twice as big as his ego, and to most of the world? He can do no wrong. While he’s committed himself to producing some of television’s highest-rated shows in the business, he has a flighty habit of playing the dating field, and he knows it. But when he finds himself thrust into the refreshing presence of Maddie, he has a sudden, overwhelming urge to change it all.
While Maddie and Nathan are total opposites on the surface, a hike to Fox Hill Run proves that a deep-down sort of desire can be triggered in the most unlikely of couples. As things heat up and an invitation to an awards show looms, will they learn to compromise their differences for a fighting chance at love?

Maddie has a morning radio talk show in Shoals Island, NC and Nathan is a Hollywood bigwig. These two are polar opposites but they feel an attraction building between while spending time together. The chemistry between them is great And the storyline is one to read.

I loved this story. Maddie and Nathan are very interesting characters.
When Maddie is waiting for her dinner and is harassed by a bunch of idiots, Nathan appears to defend her, but their first date is not ideal. They meet again when Maddie interviews him on his radio show and the sparks literally fly.
They start spending time together, including Maddie’s dog, Willow, and the feelings between them grow, but Maddie is still afraid to approach someone and suffer even more when she loses that person.
Will Nathan be able to make her see that what they have is real?
I loved the story, the characters and being able to see the characters from the other books in this series. I highly recommend the reading.
This is the third book in the Sweet Billionaires of Shoals Island series. Maddie and Nathan don’t necessarily have a great start. Nathan is rude to her when they first meet, and when they meet for the second time Nathan is surprised at the feelings she stirs in him. When they do start to develop a relationship, Maddie gets nervous and pushes him away. It’s up to Nathan to prove to her that they belong together. The close relationships and connections definitely pulled me and gave me that small hometown feeling. This is a really sweet and clean story with endearing characters you can’t help but fall in love with. Great story! There is also a nice sweet twist in the epilogue you won’t want to miss!

Refreshing, entertaining, emotional, a great story by an amazing author that I have been so happy to be reading her books. Each story talks about their main characters but also ties them in with the previous story in the series. You’ll enjoy this book!

Cute quick read! Cassie and Nathan make a cute couple…eventually. I mean, what’s the fun in going straight to a HEA!

Maddie McClure didn’t date. She was content living with Willow, her Golden Retriever. She had a budding career in radio and was always striving to do better by coming up with new ideas. She also helps her elderly neighbor Suzette who was a widower. Nathan Liddell is currently living on Shoals Island but also has a place in LA. He is committed to producing high rated shows as well as helping his friends who are also writers and producers. Maddie and Nathan are totally opposites but they seem to enjoy each other’s company. As she has never had a serious relationship let alone only dated a few times, when things seemed to get serious, did she let fear take control of her life and push him away. Emma Sutton has done it again.
She has written a story with lots of emotions and wonderful characters.
I had to read it from beginning to end ASAP.
a great addition to the series.
Nathan and Maddie don’t have a smoothest relationship. They start off on the wrong foot with him saving her from some drunken oaf’s advances and then brushing her off when she tries to thank him. She also gets cold feet when they start to get serious and pushes him away afraid to risk getting hurt, but she ends up hurting them both with her fears. I loved reading about the stage settings and behind the scenes action of movie and TV sets. It was cool to read about Narnia being recreated paper snow and all and it made me want to read that book again. Maddie’s dog Willow is adorable and her elderly neighbor that she picks up groceries for and shares take out is sweet. I loved that she told Maddie about her own fears in her dating relationship with her now deceased husband and what she would have missed out on if she hadn’t taken risks. I loved Maddie’s show connecting with the people of the island she lived on. The character stories on the TV news and radio are my favorite ones and make me smile.
Maddi and Nathans story is touching. Filling in on a talk show that day found Nathan’s future wife. Grabbing the attention of Maddi was not easy. She was not the typical lady Nathan fell for but something kicked in when they spent time together. She never really dated for fear and he never got close in a relationship after his ex moved on with his brother. Something about Shoals island keeps him splitting time between California. Perhaps it was his radio host who broke down his walls and got him to say I luv u.

I liked this story. Nathan and Maddie are great together.
This is the third book in the “Sweet Billionaires of Shoals Island” series. This is Nathan’s and Maddie’s story. Nathan is a Hollywood producer and a bit of a player. Maddie is a born and raised Shoals Island girl who is trying to make it in the world of radio. Nathan splits his time between California and North Carolina – each having studios where his shows are filmed. When he is in North Carolina, Nathan stays at the exclusive hotel owned by one of his friends, Owen West. Owen is engaged to Chelsea. (Owen and Chelsea are from book 2) Chelsea and Maddie are friends so it is only a matter of time before Maddie and Nathan meet. Their story reads like a summer romance. Their is instant an attraction, baggage from their pasts, gatherings of friends, and just enough angst to make you root for a happily ever after. Emma Sutton is a terrific author whose stories are really well written. Even though this series is about billionaires, she let’s you see their vulnerabilities. The small town feel is evident throughout the book as is the support of friends and beach-side yoga! I would definitely reading this book (and all in the series).

This is one of the sweetest books I’ve read and the sweet twist in the epilogue was off the charts!
Maddie McClure is perfectly happy on Shoals Island, has great friends, and a radio morning show job she loves. But having lost both of her parents when she was young Maddie is terrified of any kind of romantic involvement where she could lose someone she loves again. When she first meets Nathan Liddell he puts her back up with his attitude. But it turns out first impressions can be wrong.
Hollywood bigwig Nathan Liddell was having a bad day when he first met Maddie so he wasn’t very kind, and even though his second meeting took him by surprise he couldn’t believe the feelings she invoked in him. When it becomes obvious they belong together convincing Maddie that she deserves forever love may prove more difficult than he expects.

This is a sweet read appropriate for all ages set in Shoals Island, North Carolina. It’s centered around Maddie and Nathan, but if you’ve read any of the other books you’ll recognize their characters too. Maddie works at KLRT, the radio station, and Nathan owns Createways Entertainment. Maddie first meets Nathan at Lockhart’s Restaurant, when he makes a guy stop hassling her. She doesn’t know who he is at the time, but it comes to her during a radio interview, when Nathan fills in for Hudson, so Grace doesn’t have to pitch Shallow Springs, their new show, alone. They run into each other again at trivia night and she joins Nathan’s group. I won’t leave any spoilers, but I will say don’t expect smooth sailing because there is a little angst thrown in. Grab your copy and see what happens.
