LoganAfter watching my friends all get coupled up and blissfully happy, I vowed that it would never be me. Being with one woman – and only one woman – was enough to make me sick. I’d get bored.I was a cocky fucker and that’s how I planned on staying…Playing the field suited me right and I wasn’t going to give that up for anything. Football and women were all that I knew and that was how it was … was how it was going to stay.
Until she came along…
Meghan came into my life and turned it on its axis. She was feisty, had the right amount of sass and didn’t take any of my cockiness to heart. Having her in my life shouldn’t have been as much hard work as it was turning out to be but when I was with her…
It all felt right; even though it should feel wrong.
Meghan
I had no time for men. They were a waste of time and energy and were only good for one thing.
The last man that I had let into my life had made me learn that lesson. After being made a mother, I was taught that I could only rely on one person. Myself. There was no prince charming; only a prince for the night.
Logan was a player. That was obvious. I had vowed to stay as far away as I could from players but when I saw him with my baby girl, I wanted him to be my prince charming. One night was never going to be enough with him…
Logan West wasn’t a perfect love. He was a rough love that would leave you torn to pieces when he left.

This is the third installation in the Kindred series, it can be read as a complete standalone but you get glimpses of the previous couple in each book. Logan has thought of himself as a playboy and one who is not going to settle down but as his friends find their match he starts to feel like the odd man out. Then Meghan comes along and she is everything Logan did not know he needed. Meghan was not looking for a relationship and was in town to start over fresh. I really enjoyed the push and pull between the two. How they had to break down walls to get to the relationship they did not know they needed. The chemistry and build in the relationship was great. I thought Taylor was the perfect addition to the story. I loved seeing the characters from the other books. If you are looking for a single parent college age romance with a variety emotions that include great characters this is your book.
This is the 3rd book in this fascinating series and is Logan and Meghan’s story. Logan is a cocky playboy who is feeling a little left out as all his friends are meeting their significant others, that is until he meets feisty single mom Meghan. This is a beautifully written story which is an emotional roller coaster as well as being a heartfelt romance story. I was hooked throughout, and I recommend for all.
A wonderful read about Logan and Meghan. I loved the characters getting to know one another and telling their story. Look forward to more reads from this author.

I really enjoyed Logan & Megan. I highly recommend this book. Be prepared bc just when you think you have it figured out there will be another twist. Great book
Since discovering Lizzie James and the first two books of this series last year at a signing event in Leeds, I’ve been excitedly waiting for the next book. Once I finally got my hands on it, I loved it from start to finish. I’ve spent a lot of time reading in the sun during lockdown and Rough Love was the perfect book for this. I was pulled into the story and it felt like I was right there witnessing what was happening. I lost track of time and became so consumed that I didn’t see or hear anything that was happening around me. That’s when you know it’s a good book. No! That’s when you know it’s a GREAT book!!
As a single parent myself, I found I could relate most to Megan from all the characters in the series. I have the same need to always put my child first and ensure anything I do is also for them. That fear of moving on is real and I wish I could find my own Logan – you can’t help but fall a little in love with him. I loved catching up with how all the other characters were doing, and whilst the ending wraps up the series, part of me still hopes it won’t end because I’m not yet ready to say goodbye. I also feel that Andrew needs his own book so we can see if he does change and finally finds someone he can love as they deserve.
If you’re looking for a series that has a little bit of everything with each book being different and standing out on their own, then you need to pick up this series today. You won’t be disappointed and, just like me, you’ll be hooked from the first chapter. I can’t wait to see what Lizzie James has planned for the future!

Rough Love is book 3 in this series, and while it is able to be read alone you really do get a better picture of who these characters are if you read the other books first.
This is is Logan and Meghan’s story. Logan is a cocky playboy who is never planning on settling down. Meghan is not looking for a relationship just a fresh start. When the two of them meet their chemistry is off the charts and they begin to open their hearts to the idea that maybe they can let down the walls they have both have put up.
This is a wonderful story with great characters, fabulous writing and a story line that will keep you hooked from beginning to end.
A must read book and series for sure!

I couldn’t wait to read Logan’s book and the author did not disappoint me he was everything I hoped he would be and more. At times I was shouting at my kindle not wanting what was happening to happen even though it was but the story was so good and I couldn’t put it down but what a way to end the series I’m sad it’s ended but you do get to read what happened to characters from book 1/2 . A perfect ending to an amazing must read series that will make you fall in love with all the characters.
The story line was good, the character work is great, and the book had a smooth flow to it. This was a good addition to the series. I look forward to more from this author.

I received an ARC copy of this book for an honest review.
From the very first page to the very last page I was enthralled and in love.
This book is really well written and so gripping that you won’t want to put it down, in fact you won’t be able to put it down because you’ll be so immersed that you’ll forget everything around you, I did
I can’t recommend this book enough, I love the way that Lizzie writes and so will you when you pick up this book
