Everything can change in a split second,
before you can take your next breath.
Willow Parker had everything going for her, a future she dreamed of ever since she was a little girl would soon become a reality.
It’s funny how things can change in a split second, at the drop of a hat. I, for one, never thought that I would be a victim of those crazy idioms, but unfortunately, no one can … thought that I would be a victim of those crazy idioms, but unfortunately, no one can predict what the future will bring or what will happen from one minute to the next. For me, my fate was decided five years ago. It was an unforeseen tragedy, one that no one deserved, especially me. How was I to know that changing my daily routine would have an outcome that would leave me in silence for the rest of my adult life?
One thing I didn’t count on was facing the man who changed my life forever.

Steamy surprising love story. Did I say steam? Lots of steam!
Small warning: Hayden is written initially as a pushy boss. I could go so far as saying that he was bordering on work-place, sexual harassment because he had to have her. She admits that she feels she doesn’t have a choice because of his position, her boss. If that would bother you, skip this book, but I loved it!
In one awful minute, Willow Parker went from a young woman about to graduate from UCLA with a degree in journalism with an interview for a prized internship at the L.A. Times to a major car accident which put her in a hospital bed. During her recuperation she finds that she has lost her hearing. All was silence now…Oh my, if that doesn’t catch you by the throat!
Five years later we find Willow fully recuperated, having learned to read lips and going on an interview at her BFF’s place of employment, MAC Investments Magazine. She wanted this job but could she pull it off without their realizing that she couldn’t hear a word they were saying? At the same time this is happening, Hayden Marx is returning to work after being gone for several years. His twin brother covered for him. Why was this critical? Where had Hayden been? I only had one question here, how was Sawyer able to cover for him for so long? What was HIS real job? All will be revealed in time…
This was a fast-paced, very steamy, office romance told in dual POV but it becomes a lot more when secrets are revealed! A disgruntled employee just adds to the explosive ending. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book through BookSirens and I give it a passionately arousing 4.5 stars.
Love Inside The Silence is a well written, emotional story about a woman who lost her hearing after a drunk driver hit her. When Willow gets a job she meets Hayden one of her new bosses, and sparks fly. This is a steamy story about two people and how destiny brought them together a couple of times changing both of their lives forever. The characters are well developed and the storyline is great and filled with tragedy, drama, forgiveness, lots of steam and unexpected twists that pulled me into the story.
3.5 stars. When I selected this book the story sounded interesting and a little different. I was not disappointed in that regard. What was not as good was the lack of connection I felt with the main characters. Hayden’s remorse and guilt were only words and I felt he lacked any sincerity. Considering her recovery from the accident, Willow was pretty weak with Hayden. Was there any point in her interaction with Sawyer? In my opinion, it was superfluous to the story. There is lots of sex. I mean LOTS of sex to the point where it seemed they were extremely irresponsible.
I wouldn’t want to discourage someone from reading this book because it is a good story but you should be prepared for it.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author through BookSirens and was under no obligation to leave a favorable review. All opinions are my own.

Willow has been living in silence for the last 5 years due to a horrible accident. She is now ready to start a new chapter in her life but she wants no one to learn of her secret. Hayden is the CEO of MAC Investments. On a chance meeting, the 2 meet and it is instant chemistry. But Hayden also has a secret that threatens everything.
A hard to put down story. I enjoyed the twist that is presented. The steamy scene are a plus.

I really enjoyed this story. The Plot had some interesting twists. Willow’s life is completely changed in the blink of the eye on the night she was hit by a drunk driver. She finds out her hearing is forever gone. She’s very resilient and learns to read lips not wanting to learn sign language in order to keep her disability to herself. She knows the person that hit her got a jail sentence but she has no desire to find out who he is. She’s intent to find herself a paying job as it’s been 5 years since her accident. Her best friend and roommate named Mia gets her an interview at her place of employment. These two are the best of friends. Mia it seems has spent the past five years taking care of Willow but as this story gets further in Mia in my opinion turns into a brat and not someone I would continue a very close friendship with. Willow is hired for the job and after her interview with one of the partners Hayden, she finds herself practically in an insta love affair. The speed of their relationship is at warp speed and that always disturbs me but I was able to live with it here. In the time that they spend together Hayden realizes that he was the one that caused her hearing loss so he researches Ear Doctors to help her and finds the best in NY. After a trip to meet the Doctor, Willow finds out her hearing can be resolved although she’s not really sure she believes the Doctor. After her surgery she and Hayden return to California where Willow waits to see if her hearing comes back. After a while with no improvement her hearing all of a sudden comes back. Willow and Hayden are in love . It seemed a little odd to me that one of the very first things she hears is a phone conversation where Hayden confirms he’s the person responsible for the accident that caused her hearing loss. I would think this type of betrayal would put a little more distance between these characters but just like how fast these two come together and fall in love it seems Willow is ready to forgive and forget. I gave this book 4 stars because I really did enjoy it I just think each aspect was rushed to warp speed.
Had I known this was a detail by detail, sexually explicit book, I would not have agreed to read it. I was provided an ARC and promised to read and review. The description for the ARC sounded really good… never gave a hint of erotica. That’s a shame as the storyline about a woman losing her hearing after being hit by a drunk driver, had really good possibilities. And there were some good and interesting scenes about that. Lies and secrets always comeback to haunt. It was no different for Willow and Hayden. But will the truth set them free when all is revealed?
OBSERVATIONS and WISHES:
Readers need to know what type of book they will be reading. This was much more than steamy.
Spencer: more space needed to develop that last scene when Spencer kidnapped Willow. How did the shooting go down? Also, when he backhanded Willow, her head hits the window and everything goes black … Did this affect her recovery? It would have been easy to Do. The space devoted to unneeded bedroom antics could have been used for the actual plot line.
What was going on with Mia? I never understood her issues with Willow. Seemed like she only was Willow’s BFF as long as she was able to control Willow.
Where was the ending???? Bailing out on the project you worked so hard on to achieve so you could have one more round in bed …. nope, that is not an ending.
The writing and editing was good. No big issues with bad spelling or misused words. My 1 star is due to feeling I was mislead by the synopsis of the book description.
I thoroughly enjoyed Hayden and Willow’s story. There’s lots of angst and emotions jumping off the pages. Every question I had throughout the story was neatly resolved by the end.
I was totally engaged from the very first page with the well written storyline and characters that were so well detailed that I couldn’t stop turning the pages until the very end!
