This is the Trilogy review this book is included in…Sort of like 3 prequels to this authors world. I had read Warleader several months ago, and definitely felt I was missing a bit of something, but not enough to detract from that story. I was actually very nice learning how Earth saved the Coalition and became part of it. Well written, well developed characters and world. i am now looking forward to reading Warleader again and the next in that series.
Read via Kindle Unlimited but feel it well worth your time and $$.
Loved Evie and REEF\Eriff’s story
The REEF has survived. The Gatekeeper and Handyman are determined to nurse him back to health. Cavin and Jana offer him a chance at a new life on Earth. While Cavin’s hero status keeps him safe, REEF’s villain status puts him in danger. Jana has a plan. Hiding him in plain sight. She just has to convince her older sister that her house is the perfect place to hide him.
Evil Holloway is a divorced stay at home mother of two young teens. The black sheep of the family, she is content with being a mom and helping her family with what ever they need. The REEF in her house is a hard no. Then he saves her life and a tentative friendship is born.
Being human again is a learning curve for REEF. Emotions are causing unexpected problems. His attraction to Evie the most important
The more time Evie spends with her new house guest the most comfortable she feels and the harder it is to ignore the attraction between the. Trouble is brewing. REEF’s memories are starting to return. His monster within is trying to take over. REEF’s creator wants him back.
A sweet and steamy sifi romance.
It’s been a while since I’ve read a truly intriguing and engaging cyborg anything. Most of those I’ve read were firmly planted in the sci-fi genre, not a speck of romance to be seen. But Eriff’s story, his search for his humanity, coming to grips with everything being human entails with Evie’s help, is such a great balance of sci-fi and romance. There’s newness and wonder as Eriff learns to be human while hiding on earth with Evie. But there’s the struggle to accept his human emotions and reactions as opposed to what he’s programmed to do.
I didn’t read the first two stories in this series; I’m sad I didn’t. There is more to Eriff’s story than I realized even though this story reads as a standalone. I want to know the cyborg he was before this, his functionality, his lack of humanity. Watching him change was just as interesting as watching Evie’s wariness of him shift to feelings of friendship then something deeper.
I’m so glad I asked to review this book. Now I have to go back and read the others.

Another Otherworldly Men but this is book 3. Reef was born in Sandreem, but he has no memory of his childhood and was conscripted into a cyborg killing machine, They mind wiped him and enhanced him. I think the greatest part of this story is when Reef start to rediscover his humanity. Evie on the other hand is a nurturer, but with personal reasons she doesn’t want Reef anywhere near her family. She saves a wounded child under the “killing machine” so instinctively she provides him help and a safe place to heal. I loved the way this story played out. Loved this! it had me in stitches! I love this series! I am having so much fun reading Susan again! This book is taking place at the same time that Royal recruit is and I found that it overlapped with that story. It is very well written and fluid and it shores up a lot of things that have happened. This is the last of the OtherWorldlyMen series but there is so much potential to keep this going. Evie and REEF are an unlikely pair but gosh the writing makes it very hard to put down! I am waiting for more from Susan!

Wowsers!! I love this story!! I love the whole series, but I think this one is my favorite… and Reef… he’s such a romantic character! He and Evie make the sweetest couple… Deep, emotional story… Fantastic!!

Evie Jasper-Holloway is a divorced single mom, tired of being in the shadow of her political family. She has finally decided to take a step out on her own and market her desserts.
REEF/Eriff Sandreemer is a galactic assassin whose hardware has malfunctioned and he’s been given the choice of a new life on Earth.
This is a great conclusion to the series. The facts come out as REEF/Eriff’s memory returns and he learns to connect more to his human side. I liked the connection between Eriff and Evie. After a rocky start, they definitely bring out the best in each other.
Though this book could be read as a standalone, you get much more with the three books together.
Rich world building, enticing characters and a beautiful story wrap up to a memorable tale.
The story line was great, the character work was fantastic, and the book had a smooth flow to it. This was another great addition to the series and entertained from beginning to end.

Biomechatronic assassin REEF is one of the galaxy’s most-feared super soldiers until he botched his last mission and is given a new lease on life as a human. Will REEF be able to deal with his new found emotions and his attraction to his beautiful caretaker Evie Jasper Holloway?
Cyborg and the Single Mom is a fun, sweet, action-paced, suspenseful and steamy story that will tug at your heart strings. I can’t wait to read Warleader, Book 1 of the Borderlands series and the next part in the saga.
First of all, this book is the conclusion to the series, “WorldlyMen,”
I found lots to like about this book. “Cyborg…” is a fun read, but also one with substance that reaches into your heart tugging unashamedly at your emotions. Susan peppers the pages with fast-paced excitement and a very “hot” unlikely love story between Reef and Evie. This easy to read, but thought-provoking story line, tracks across different levels.
We first meet Reef and Evie in WorldlyMen #1. Reef is the ultimate galactic cyborg assassin on assignment to Earth when his bioengineering malfunctions. Evie, a nurturing suburbia single mom with two children creates extraordinary chocolate-dipped strawberries which I could almost taste. I admit to a few laugh-out-loud moments during the developing love story.
I highly recommend all three “WorldlyMen” books. “Cyborg…” delivers a powerful conclusion to the series.

This book was a roller coaster ride for the emotions. Up, down, up, down….. grab the tissues!
We met Eriff for the first time in Guardian Alien. He was the alien assassin trying to kill Cavin. His hardware was hacked to kill him after his last “job,” but through some serendipitous events, it was removed in time. Imagine discovering emotions in your thirties! Eriff is a very dangerous innocent dropped into an alien culture and trying to find his way.
He is dumped on Jana’s sister, Evie, and she is supposed to host him and keep him hidden. HA! Of course, things don’t work out that way. Grab a copy and see how well or poorly Eriff “blends.”
Loving Evie is the best thing that ever happened to him, and he knows it. Eriff’s encouragement empowers Evie to become the person she wants to be. Their love story is a sweet tale of redemption and second chances for both of them. Don’t miss it!
