There are two sides to every story. I fell in love with a redheaded boy, a boy who was kind and good. Until he wasn’t. He broke my heart once, twice… I’ve lost count. Like a dark god, he haunts me. He smells like smoke and cinnamon, with danger seeping from every pore. He is my savior, my lover, exciting and addictive.I should’ve seen it coming… Never trust a Disciple. You have to sell your soul … trust a Disciple. You have to sell your soul to the devil to get one to love you. I would.
I did.
My name is Dolores Dunghart and I might have done the unforgivable.
I don’t care if you judge me… I’ve judged myself.
But this is how we live.
And this is our love story.
Edge and Dolly forever.

Just when I didn’t think I could love a series more Cassandra goes and writes this one. I think this one is my favorite because we really get to see just how far the love between Edge and Dolly goes. It starts from when they were young kids and through the years. It hasn’t been an easy road to say the least. They have to overcome some huge hurdles in their own lives as well as a couple.
I love the feeling that you don’t want to put this down, luckily I started it early in the day and was able to finish it later that night. I was reading snippets in between cooking and doing things around the house. It’s a relatively easy read but it is jam packed to the gills with good stuff. In order to get the full effect of their story, of the essence of Edge and Dolly, I highly recommend starting with Lethal, then Atone.
I can’t wait to see what the future holds for them, and the rest of the Club.
Dolly and Edge were like childhood sweethearts. They grew up with rough childhood and tried to work it out. I adored the their relationship! There were moments that made it so hard to breath. It can be frustrating at times.. Dolly and Edge didnt made it easy. Their love story were heartbreaking but love conquer everything.
I have been looking forward to Edge and Dolly’s story since I had my first glimpse of them in book 1 and it was so much more than I ever dreamed.
Edge and Dolly were meant to be from childhood, I loved getting those glimpses of a time in their life that turned them into the adults we knew and seeing that the connection they shared was there from such a young age.
Heartbreak, so much heartbreak, for both of them and for so many reasons. The intense connection these 2 shared at an age I think they were too young to handle which lead them down a tumultuous path.
Some of the things these 2 said and did to each other made me want to knock them upside the head, they were like a tornado that produced drama and caused emotional damage.
I think these 2 were the most deserving of a happily ever after than anyone, these 2 crazies captured my heart.
I have wanted Edge and Dolly’s story since book one as a couple they fascinated me. Complex doesn’t begin to describe them indivdually bit also as a couple. Love and hate are emotions closely linked and these two straddle that line. In the previous books I felt like I had whiplash, there was passion between them but also pain anger and sadness but we didn’t know why. I won’t say I understand them completely after reading their story but the finally we get the backstory. Not all love stories are shining rainbows some are full of pain but if the love is there you fight and Edge and Dolly will fight for each other until the end.
